1	When Jesus had concluded His discourse in the hearing of the people, He went to Capernaum.	After he had finished all his sayings in the hearing of the people, he entered Capernaum.	When Jesus had finished saying all this to the people who were listening, he entered Capernaum.

9	When Jesus heard this, He marveled at the centurion. Turning to the crowd following Him, He said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such great faith.”	When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.”	When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, “I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel.”

21	Now at that very hour Jesus healed many people of their diseases, afflictions, and evil spirits, and He gave sight to many who were blind. 22	So Jesus replied, “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.	And he answered them, “Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have good news preached to them.	So he replied to the messengers, “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.
23	Blessed is the one who does not fall away on account of Me.”	And blessed is the one who is not offended by me.”	Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.”
24	After John’s messengers had left, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swaying in the wind? 27	This is the one about whom it is written: ‘Behold, I will send My messenger ahead of You, who will prepare Your way before You.’	This is he of whom it is written, “‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.’	This is the one about whom it is written: “’I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.’
28	For I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater prophet than John the Baptist, yet even the least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”	I tell you, among those born of women none is greater than John. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”	I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”
29	All the people who heard this, even the tax collectors, acknowledged God’s justice. For they had received the baptism of John. 36	Then one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to eat with him, and He entered the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table. 37	When a sinful woman from that town learned that Jesus was dining there, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume. 38	As she stood behind Him at His feet weeping, she began to wet His feet with her tears and wipe them with her hair. 40	But Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.” “Tell me, Teacher,” he said.	And Jesus answering said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” And he answered, “Say it, Teacher.”	Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.” “Tell me, teacher,” he said.
41	“Two men were debtors to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.	“A certain moneylender had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.	“Two people owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.
42	When they were unable to repay him, he forgave both of them. Tell Me, which one, then, will love him more?”	When they could not pay, he cancelled the debt of both. Now which of them will love him more?”	Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he forgave the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?”
43	“I suppose the one who was forgiven more,” Simon replied. “You have judged correctly,” Jesus said.	Simon answered, “The one, I suppose, for whom he cancelled the larger debt.” And he said to him, “You have judged rightly.”	Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt forgiven.” “You have judged correctly,” Jesus said.
44	And turning toward the woman, He said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? When I entered your house, you did not give Me water for My feet, but she wet My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head.	Then turning toward the woman he said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.	Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.
45	You did not greet Me with a kiss, but she has not stopped kissing My feet since I arrived.	You gave me no kiss, but from the time I came in she has not ceased to kiss my feet.	You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet.
46	You did not anoint My head with oil, but she has anointed My feet with perfume.	You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment.	You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet.
47	Therefore I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven, for she has loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little.”	Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven—for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.”	Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.”

49	But those at the table began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”	Then those who were at table with him began to say among themselves, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?”	The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”
50	And Jesus told the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”	And he said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”	Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
