1 At that time the Emperor Augustus ordered a census of the Roman Empire. In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world.

51 Then he returned with them to Nazareth and was obedient to them. His mother treasured all these things in her heart. And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was submissive to them.
