1 Now He said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to him through whom they come! And he said to his disciples, “Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come.
2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble. It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3 Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, So watch yourselves. “If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them.
4 And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ forgive him.” and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.” Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”

6 And the Lord said, “If you have faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea’; and it would obey you. He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
7 “But which of you, having a slave plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come immediately and sit down to eat’? “Will any one of you who has a servant plowing or keeping sheep say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and recline at table’? “Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’?
8 But will he not say to him, ‘Prepare something for me to eat, and, clothing yourself properly, serve me while I eat and drink; and afterward you may eat and drink’? Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare supper for me, and dress properly, and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’? Won’t he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’?
9 Is he grateful to the slave because he did the things which were commanded? Does he thank the servant because he did what was commanded? Will he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do?
10 In this way, you also, when you do all the things which are commanded of you, say, ‘We are unworthy slaves; we have done only that which we ought to have done.’” So you also, when you have done all that you were commanded, say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.’” So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”
11 And it happened that while He was on the way to Jerusalem, He was passing through Samaria and Galilee. On the way to Jerusalem he was passing along between Samaria and Galilee. Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.

19 And He said to him, “Stand up and go; your faith has saved you.” And he said to him, “Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”
20 Now having been questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God was coming, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed, Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed, Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed,
21 nor will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or, ‘There!’ For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.” nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.” nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”
22 And He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. And he said to the disciples, “The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.
23 And they will say to you, ‘Look there! Look here!’ Do not go away, and do not run after them. And they will say to you, ‘Look, there!’ or ‘Look, here!’ Do not go out or follow them. People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them.
24 For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day. For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day. For the Son of Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other.

31 On that day, the one who is on the housetop and whose goods are in the house must not go down to take them out, and likewise the one who is in the field must not turn back. On that day, let the one who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away, and likewise let the one who is in the field not turn back. On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything.

33 Whoever seeks to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it. Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it.

37 And answering they said to Him, “Where, Lord?” And He said to them, “Where the body is, there also the vultures will be gathered.” And they said to him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.” “Where, Lord?” they asked. He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.”
