| 43 | And whence [is] this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? | And why is this granted to me that the mother of my Lord should come to me? | But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? | |
| 44 | For behold, as the voice of thy salutation sounded in my ears, the babe leaped with joy in my womb. | For behold, when the sound of your greeting came to my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. | As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. | |
| 45 | And blessed [is] she that has believed, for there shall be a fulfilment of the things spoken to her from [the] Lord. | And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.” | Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!” | |

| 48 | For he has looked upon the low estate of his bondmaid; for behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. | for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant.
