1 And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, The LORD said to Moses,
2 “Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bull of the sin offering, and the two rams, and the basket of the unleavened bread; “Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments and the anointing oil and the bull of the sin offering and the two rams and the basket of unleavened bread. “Bring Aaron and his sons, their garments, the anointing oil, the bull for the sin offering, the two rams and the basket containing bread made without yeast,
3 and assemble all the congregation at the door of the Tent of Meeting.” And assemble all the congregation at the entrance of the tent of meeting.” and gather the entire assembly at the entrance to the tent of meeting.”
4 And Moses did as YHWH commanded him, and the congregation assembled at the door of the Tent of Meeting. And Moses did as the LORD commanded him, and the congregation was assembled at the entrance of the tent of meeting. Moses did as the LORD commanded him, and the assembly gathered at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
5 And Moses said to the congregation, “This is the word that YHWH commanded to do.” And Moses said to the congregation, “This is the thing that the LORD has commanded to be done.” Moses said to the assembly, “This is what the LORD has commanded to be done.”
6 And Moses brought near Aaron and his sons, and he washed them with the water, And Moses brought Aaron and his sons and washed them with water. Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons forward and washed them with water.
7 and he put the tunic on him, and he girded him with the sash, and he clothed him with the robe, and he put the ephod on him, and he girded him with the skillfully woven waistband of the ephod, and he bound it on him with it. And he put the coat on him and tied the sash around his waist and clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him and tied the skillfully woven band of the ephod around him, binding it to him with the band. He put the tunic on Aaron, tied the sash around him, clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him. He also fastened the ephod with a decorative waistband, which he tied around him.
8 And he put on him the breastplate, and he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim. And he placed the breastpiece on him, and in the breastpiece he put the Urim and the Thummim. He placed the breastpiece on him and put the Urim and Thummim in the breastpiece.
9 And he put the turban on his head, and he put on the turban, toward the front of its face, the golden plate, the holy diadem, as YHWH had commanded Moses. And he set the turban on his head, and on the turban, in front, he set the golden plate, the holy crown, as the LORD commanded Moses. Then he placed the turban on Aaron’s head and set the gold plate, the sacred emblem, on the front of it, as the LORD commanded Moses.
10 And Moses took the anointing oil, and he anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and he sanctified them. Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and consecrated them. Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and everything in it, and so consecrated them.
11 And he sprinkled from it on the altar seven times, and he anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the basin and its stand, to sanctify them. 14 And he brought near the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering. Then he brought the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering. He then presented the bull for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.
15 And he slaughtered it, and Moses took the blood, and he put it on the horns of the altar all around with his finger, and he cleansed from sin the altar, and he poured the blood at the base of the altar, and he sanctified it, to make atonement upon it. And he killed it, and Moses took the blood, and with his finger put it on the horns of the altar around it and purified the altar and poured out the blood at the base of the altar and consecrated it to make atonement for it. Moses slaughtered the bull and took some of the blood, and with his finger he put it on all the horns of the altar to purify the altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. So he consecrated it to make atonement for it.
16 And he took all the fat that was on the entrails, and the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and their fat, and Moses burned them on the altar. And he took all the fat that was on the entrails and the long lobe of the liver and the two kidneys with their fat, and Moses burned them on the altar. Moses also took all the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, and both kidneys and their fat, and burned it on the altar.
17 And the bull and its skin and its flesh and its dung, he burned in the fire outside of the camp, as YHWH had commanded Moses. But the bull and its skin and its flesh and its dung he burned up with fire outside the camp, as the LORD commanded Moses. But the bull with its hide and its flesh and its intestines he burned up outside the camp, as the LORD commanded Moses.
18 And he brought near the ram of the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. Then he presented the ram of the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. He then presented the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.
19 And he slaughtered it, and Moses sprinkled the blood on the altar all around. And he killed it, and Moses threw the blood against the sides of the altar. Then Moses slaughtered the ram and splashed the blood against the sides of the altar.
20 And he cut the ram into its pieces, and Moses burned the head, and the pieces, and the fat. He cut the ram into pieces, and Moses burned the head and the pieces and the fat. He cut the ram into pieces and burned the head, the pieces and the fat.
21 And the entrails and the legs he washed in the water, and Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a pleasing aroma; it was a fire offering to YHWH, as YHWH had commanded Moses. He washed the entrails and the legs with water, and Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. 22 And he brought near the second ram, the ram of the ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. Then he presented the other ram, the ram of ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. He then presented the other ram, the ram for the ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.
23 And he slaughtered it, and Moses took from its blood, and he put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot. And he killed it, and Moses took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron’s right ear and on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot. Moses slaughtered the ram and took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron’s right ear, on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot.
24 And he brought near the sons of Aaron, and Moses put from the blood on the tips of their right ears, and on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. And Moses sprinkled the blood on the altar all around. Then he presented Aaron’s sons, and Moses put some of the blood on the lobes of their right ears and on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. And Moses threw the blood against the sides of the altar. Moses also brought Aaron’s sons forward and put some of the blood on the lobes of their right ears, on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. Then he splashed blood against the sides of the altar.
25 And he took the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that was on the entrails, and the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and their fat, and the right thigh. Then he took the fat and the fat tail and all the fat that was on the entrails and the long lobe of the liver and the two kidneys with their fat and the right thigh, After that, he took the fat, the fat tail, all the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, both kidneys and their fat and the right thigh.
26 And from the basket of the unleavened bread that was before the face of YHWH he took one unleavened cake, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and he put them on the fat and on the right thigh. and out of the basket of unleavened bread that was before the LORD he took one unleavened loaf and one loaf of bread with oil and one wafer and placed them on the pieces of fat and on the right thigh. And from the basket of bread made without yeast, which was before the LORD, he took one thick loaf, one thick loaf with olive oil mixed in, and one thin loaf, and he put these on the fat portions and on the right thigh.
27 And he set all these on the palms of Aaron and on the palms of his sons, and he waved them as a wave offering before the face of YHWH. And he put all these in the hands of Aaron and in the hands of his sons and waved them as a wave offering before the LORD. He put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons, and they waved them before the LORD as a wave offering.
28 And Moses took them from their palms, and he burned them on the altar, on the burnt offering. They were ordination offerings for a pleasing aroma; it was a fire offering to YHWH. Then Moses took them from their hands and burned them on the altar with the burnt offering. This was an ordination offering with a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD. Then Moses took them from their hands and burned them on the altar on top of the burnt offering as an ordination offering, a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the LORD.
29 And Moses took the breast, and he waved it as a wave offering before the face of YHWH. From the ram of the ordination it was for Moses, for a portion, as YHWH had commanded Moses. And Moses took the breast and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD. It was Moses’ portion of the ram of ordination, as the LORD commanded Moses. Moses also took the breast, which was his share of the ordination ram, and waved it before the LORD as a wave offering, as the LORD commanded Moses.
30 And Moses took from the anointing oil and from the blood that was on the altar, and he sprinkled it on Aaron, on his garments, and on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him. And he sanctified Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him. Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkled it on Aaron and his garments, and also on his sons and his sons’ garments. So he consecrated Aaron and his garments, and his sons and his sons’ garments with him. Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood from the altar and sprinkled them on Aaron and his garments and on his sons and their garments. So he consecrated Aaron and his garments and his sons and their garments.
31 And Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, “Boil the flesh at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and there you⁺ shall eat it, and the bread that is in the basket of ordination offerings, as I commanded, saying, ‘Aaron and his sons shall eat it.’ And Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “Boil the flesh at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of ordination offerings, as I commanded, saying, ‘Aaron and his sons shall eat it.’ Moses then said to Aaron and his sons, “Cook the meat at the entrance to the tent of meeting and eat it there with the bread from the basket of ordination offerings, as I was commanded: ‘Aaron and his sons are to eat it.’
32 And the remainder among the flesh and among the bread you⁺ shall burn in the fire. And what remains of the flesh and the bread you shall burn up with fire. Then burn up the rest of the meat and the bread.
33 And you⁺ shall not go from the door of the Tent of Meeting for seven days, until the day of the fullness, the days of your⁺ ordination—for seven days he will fill your⁺ hand. And you shall not go outside the entrance of the tent of meeting for seven days, until the days of your ordination are completed, for it will take seven days to ordain you. Do not leave the entrance to the tent of meeting for seven days, until the days of your ordination are completed, for your ordination will last seven days.
34 As he has done in this day, YHWH has commanded to do, to make atonement upon you⁺. As has been done today, the LORD has commanded to be done to make atonement for you. What has been done today was commanded by the LORD to make atonement for you.
35 And you⁺ shall stay at the door of the Tent of Meeting, day and night for seven days, and you⁺ shall keep the charge of YHWH, and you⁺ shall not die; for so I have been commanded.” At the entrance of the tent of meeting you shall remain day and night for seven days, performing what the LORD has charged, so that you do not die, for so I have been commanded.” You must stay at the entrance to the tent of meeting day and night for seven days and do what the LORD requires, so you will not die; for that is what I have been commanded.”
36 And Aaron and his sons did all the words that YHWH had commanded by the hand of Moses. And Aaron and his sons did all the things that the LORD commanded by Moses. So Aaron and his sons did everything the LORD commanded through Moses.
