The God of this people chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they sojourned in the land of Egypt, and with an uplifted arm he brought them out from it. The God of this people Israel chose our fathers and made the people great during their stay in the land of Egypt, and with uplifted arm he led them out of it. The God of the people of Israel chose our ancestors; he made the people prosper during their stay in Egypt; with mighty power he led them out of that country;

God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.’

No, but behold, after me one is coming, the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to untie.’ As John was completing his work, he said: ‘Who do you suppose I am? I am not the one you are looking for. 27 For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, be cause they did not know him, nor the words of the prophets, which are read every sabbath-day, have fulfilled them in condemning him. For those who live in Jerusalem and their rulers, because they did not recognize him nor understand the utterances of the prophets, which are read every Sabbath, fulfilled them by condemning him. And when they had carried out all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree and laid him in a tomb. 30 But God raised him from the dead. But God raised him from the dead, But God raised him from the dead,
And he was seen for many days by those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses to the people. and for many days he appeared to those who had come up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses to the people. and for many days he was seen by those who had traveled with him from Galilee to Jerusalem. 32 And we preach to you good news concerning the promise made to our fathers, And we bring you the good news that what God promised to the fathers, “We tell you the good news: What God promised our ancestors
that God has fulfilled the same to us, their children, by raising up Jesus, as it is written in the second Psalm: Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. this he has fulfilled to us their children by raising Jesus, as also it is written in the second Psalm, “‘You are my Son, today I have begotten you.’ he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm: “’You are my son; today I have become your father.’
But that he raised him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, he has spoken thus: I will give you the sure mercies of David. And as for the fact that he raised him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, he has spoken in this way, “‘I will give you the holy and sure blessings of David.’ God raised him from the dead so that he will never be subject to decay. As God has said, “’I will give you the holy and sure blessings promised to David.’
For which reason he says also in another Psalm: Thou wilt not suffer thy Holy One to see corruption. Therefore he says also in another psalm, “‘You will not let your Holy One see corruption.’ So it is also stated elsewhere: “’You will not let your holy one see decay.’
For David, after serving the purpose of God in his own generation, fell asleep, and was laid with his fathers, and saw corruption. For David, after he had served the purpose of God in his own generation, fell asleep and was laid with his fathers and saw corruption, “Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his ancestors and his body decayed.

and by him, every one that believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses. 40 Take heed, therefore, lest that which is spoken in the prophets come upon you: Beware, therefore, lest what is said in the Prophets should come about: Take care that what the prophets have said does not happen to you:
Behold, you despisers, and wonder, and perish. For I work a work in your days, a work which you will not believe, though one fully declare it to you. “‘Look, you scoffers, be astounded and perish; for I am doing a work in your days, a work that you will not believe, even if one tells it to you.’” “’Look, you scoffers, wonder and perish, for I am going to do something in your days that you would never believe, even if someone told you.’”
And as they were departing from the synagogue, they were requested to speak these things to them on the next sabbath. As they went out, the people begged that these things might be told them the next Sabbath. As Paul and Barnabas were leaving the synagogue, the people invited them to speak further about these things on the next Sabbath.
Now, after the congregation was dismissed, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who spoke to them, and persuaded them to continue faithful to the grace of God. And after the meeting of the synagogue broke up, many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who, as they spoke with them, urged them to continue in the grace of God. They began to contradict what Paul was saying and heaped abuse on him.
But Paul and Barnabas, speaking boldly, said: It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first: but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, lo! we turn to tho Gentiles. And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, saying, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken first to you. Since you thrust it aside and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles. Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: “We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.
For thus has the Lord given us commandment: I have placed thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be for salvation to the most distant part of the earth. For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, “‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’” For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “’I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”
When the Gentiles heard this they rejoiced, and glorified the word of the Lord; and as many as were determined to obtain eternal life, believed. And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed. When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.
And the word of the Lord was published throughout the whole of that region. And the word of the Lord was spreading throughout the whole region. The word of the Lord spread through the whole region.
But the Jews in cited the devout and influential women, and the first men of the city, and raised a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their borders. But the Jews incited the devout women of high standing and the leading men of the city, stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their district. But the Jewish leaders incited the God-fearing women of high standing and the leading men of the city. They stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region.
But they shook off the dust from their feet against them, and went to Iconium. But they shook off the dust from their feet against them and went to Iconium. So they shook the dust off their feet as a warning to them and went to Iconium.
And the disciples were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit. And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
