Jeremiah 25:38
Good News Translation
The LORD has abandoned his people like a lion that leaves its cave. The horrors of war and the LORD's fierce anger have turned the country into a desert.

Like a lion he has left his covert; for their land has become a waste because of the cruel sword, and because of his fierce anger.
