יֹ֭שֵׁב
בְּסֵ֣תֶר
עֶלְי֑וֹן
בְּצֵ֥ל
שַׁ֝דַּ֗י
יִתְלוֹנָֽן׃
He who dwells
in the shelter
of the Most High
will abide
in the shadow
of the Almighty.
He that dwelleth
in the secret
place of the most High
shall abide
under the shadow
of the Almighty.

אֹמַ֗ר
לַֽ֭יהוָה
מַחְסִ֣י
וּמְצוּדָתִ֑י
אֱ֝לֹהַ֗י
אֶבְטַח־
בּֽוֹ׃
I will say
to the LORD,
“You are my refuge
and my fortress,
my God,
in whom I trust.”
I will say
of the LORD,
[He is] my refuge
and my fortress:
my God;
in him will I trust.

כִּ֤י

Surely
He
will deliver you
from the snare
of the fowler,
and from the deadly
plague.
Surely he shall deliver
thee from the snare
of the fowler,
[and] from the noisome
pestilence.

בְּאֶבְרָת֨וֹ ׀
יָ֣סֶךְ
לָ֭ךְ
וְתַֽחַת־
כְּנָפָ֣יו
תֶּחְסֶ֑ה
צִנָּ֖ה
וְֽסֹחֵרָ֣ה
אֲמִתּֽוֹ׃
He will cover
you
with His feathers;
under
His wings
you will find refuge;
His faithfulness
is a shield
and rampart.
He shall cover
thee with his feathers,
and under his wings
shalt thou trust:
his truth
[shall be thy] shield
and buckler.

לֹא־

מִפַּ֣חַד
לָ֑יְלָה
מֵ֝חֵ֗ץ
יָע֥וּף
יוֹמָֽם׃
You will not
fear
the terror
of the night,
nor the arrow
that flies
by day,
Thou shalt not be afraid
for the terror
by night;
[nor] for the arrow
[that] flieth
by day;
6
מִ֭דֶּבֶר
בָּאֹ֣פֶל
יַהֲלֹ֑ךְ
מִ֝קֶּ֗טֶב
יָשׁ֥וּד
צָהֳרָֽיִם׃
nor the pestilence
that stalks
in the darkness,
nor the calamity
that destroys
at noon.
[Nor] for the pestilence
[that] walketh
in darkness;
[nor] for the destruction
[that] wasteth
at noonday.

Though a thousand
may fall
at your side,
and ten thousand
at your right hand,
no harm
will come near
you.
A thousand
shall fall
at thy side,
and ten thousand
at thy right hand;
[but] it shall not come nigh
thee.

You will only
see it
with your eyes
and witness
the punishment
of the wicked.
Only with thine eyes
shalt thou behold
and see
the reward
of the wicked.

כִּֽי־

you
have made
the LORD
your dwelling—
my refuge,
the Most High—
Because thou hast made
the LORD,
[which is] my refuge,
[even] the most High,
thy habitation;

no

you,
no

your tent.
There shall no evil
befall
thee, neither shall any plague
come nigh
thy dwelling.

כִּ֣י
מַ֭לְאָכָיו

For
He will command
His angels
concerning you
to guard you
in all
your ways.
For he shall give his angels
charge
over thee, to keep
thee in all thy ways.

They will lift you up
in
their hands,
so that you will not

They shall bear thee up
in [their] hands,
lest thou dash
thy foot

When he calls out to Me,
