This is what

Thus hath the Lord
GOD
shewed

“Amos,
what
do you
see?”
He asked.
“A basket
of summer fruit,”
I replied.
So the LORD
said
to me,
“The end
has come
for
My people
Israel;
I will no
longer
spare
them.”
And he said,
Amos,
what seest
thou? And I said,
A basket
of summer fruit.
Then said
the LORD
unto me, The end
is come
upon my people
of Israel;
I will not again
pass
by them any more.

they shall cast [them] forth

even they shall fall,
and never rise up
