1So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. 7On that day David first delivered this psalm into the hand of Asaph and his brethren, to thank the LORD: | 7Then on that day David first appointed that thanksgiving be sung to the LORD by Asaph and his brothers. |

38and Obed-Edom with his sixty-eight brethren, including Obed-Edom the son of Jeduthun, and Hosah, to be gatekeepers; | 38and also Obed-edom and his sixty-eight brothers, while Obed-edom, the son of Jeduthun, and Hosah were to be gatekeepers. |
39and Zadok the priest and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD at the high place that was at Gibeon, | 39And he left Zadok the priest and his brothers the priests before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon |
40to offer burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of burnt offering regularly morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the Law of the LORD which He commanded Israel; | 40to offer burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of burnt offering regularly morning and evening, to do all that is written in the Law of the LORD that he commanded Israel. |

42and with them Heman and Jeduthun, to sound aloud with trumpets and cymbals and the musical instruments of God. Now the sons of Jeduthun were gatekeepers. | 42Heman and Jeduthun had trumpets and cymbals for the music and instruments for sacred song. The sons of Jeduthun were appointed to the gate. |
43Then all the people departed, every man to his house; and David returned to bless his house. | 43Then all the people departed each to his house, and David went home to bless his household. |
