and he saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins.2And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
And he said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them.3And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”4For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
And while some were speaking of the temple, how it was adorned with noble stones and offerings, he said,5And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
“As for these things that you see, the days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”6As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
And they asked him, “Teacher, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when these things are about to take place?”7And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
And he said, “See that you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them.8And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
And when you hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not be at once.”9But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.10Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name’s sake.12But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
This will be your opportunity to bear witness.13And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
Settle it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer,14Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict.15For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
You will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death.16And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
You will be hated by all for my name’s sake.17And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.

By your endurance you will gain your lives.19In your patience possess ye your souls.

Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those who are inside the city depart, and let not those who are out in the country enter it,21Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
for these are days of vengeance, to fulfill all that is written.22For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
Alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! For there will be great distress upon the earth and wrath against this people.23But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive among all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
“And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves,25And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken.26Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near.31So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all has taken place.32Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

And every day he was teaching in the temple, but at night he went out and lodged on the mount called Olivet.37And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
And early in the morning all the people came to him in the temple to hear him.38And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.
