As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. Accept anyone who is weak in faith, but don’t argue about doubtful issues. Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not to have quarrels over opinions.
One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. One person believes he may eat anything, but one who is weak eats only vegetables. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. One person has faith that he may eat all things, but the one who is weak eats only vegetables.
Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. One who eats must not look down on one who does not eat, and one who does not eat must not criticize one who does, because God has accepted him. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. The one who eats is not to regard with contempt the one who does not eat, and the one who does not eat is not to judge the one who eats, for God has accepted him.
Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand. Who are you to criticize another’s household slave? Before his own Lord he stands or falls. And he will stand. For the Lord is able to make him stand. Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. One person considers one day to be above another day. Someone else considers every day to be the same. Each one must be fully convinced in his own mind. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. One person values one day over another, another values every day the same. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind.
The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. Whoever observes the day, observes it for the honor of the Lord. Whoever eats, eats for the Lord, since he gives thanks to God; and whoever does not eat, it is for the Lord that he does not eat it, yet he thanks God. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. The one who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and the one who eats, does so with regard to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and the one who does not eat, it is for the Lord that he does not eat, and he gives thanks to God.
For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself;
For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. Christ died and came to life for this: that He might rule over both the dead and the living. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.
Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; But you, why do you criticize your brother? Or you, why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before the tribunal of God. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. But as for you, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or you as well, why do you regard your brother or sister with contempt? For we will all appear before the judgment seat of God.
for it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” For it is written: As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow to Me, and every tongue will give praise to God. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. For it is written: “AS I LIVE, SAYS THE LORD, TO ME EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, AND EVERY TONGUE WILL GIVE PRAISE TO GOD.”
So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God.
Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. Therefore, let us no longer criticize one another. Instead decide never to put a stumbling block or pitfall in your brother’s way. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. Therefore let’s not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this: not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother’s or sister’s way.
I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself, but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean. (I know and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself. Still, to someone who considers a thing to be unclean, to that one it is unclean.) I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. I know and am convinced in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself; but to the one who thinks something is unclean, to that person it is unclean.
For if your brother is grieved by what you eat, you are no longer walking in love. By what you eat, do not destroy the one for whom Christ died. For if your brother is hurt by what you eat, you are no longer walking according to love. Do not destroy that one Christ died for by what you eat. But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. For if because of food your brother or sister is hurt, you are no longer walking in accordance with love. Do not destroy with your choice of food that person for whom Christ died.
So do not let what you regard as good be spoken of as evil. Therefore, do not let your good be slandered, Let not then your good be evil spoken of: Therefore do not let what is for you a good thing be spoken of as evil;
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. Whoever serves Christ in this way is acceptable to God and approved by men. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. For the one who serves Christ in this way is acceptable to God and approved by other people.
So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. So then, we must pursue what promotes peace and what builds up one another. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. So then we pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another.
Do not, for the sake of food, destroy the work of God. Everything is indeed clean, but it is wrong for anyone to make another stumble by what he eats. Do not tear down God’s work because of food. Everything is clean, but it is wrong for a man to cause stumbling by what he eats. For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. Do not tear down the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are clean, but they are evil for the person who eats and causes offense.
It is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that causes your brother to stumble. It is a noble thing not to eat meat, or drink wine, or do anything that makes your brother stumble. It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine, or to do anything by which your brother or sister stumbles.
The faith that you have, keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who has no reason to pass judgment on himself for what he approves. Do you have a conviction? Keep it to yourself before God. The man who does not condemn himself by what he approves is blessed. Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. The faith which you have, have as your own conviction before God. Happy is the one who does not condemn himself in what he approves.
But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because the eating is not from faith. For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin. But whoever doubts stands condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from a conviction, and everything that is not from a conviction is sin. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. But the one who doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and whatever is not from faith is sin.
