| 17 | שֶׁ֣קֶר הַ֭סּוּס לִתְשׁוּעָ֑ה וּבְרֹ֥ב חֵ֝יל֗וֹ לֹ֣א יְמַלֵּֽט׃ | The war horse is a false hope for salvation, and by its great might it cannot rescue. | A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save. | |

| 19 | לְהַצִּ֣יל מִמָּ֣וֶת נַפְשָׁ֑ם וּ֝לְחַיּוֹתָ֗ם בָּרָעָֽב׃ | that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine. | to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. | |
