35	Then Jesus told them, “For a little while longer, the Light will be among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.	So Jesus said to them, “The light is among you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.	Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going.
36	While you have the Light, believe in the Light, so that you may become sons of light.” After Jesus had spoken these things, He went away and was hidden from them.	While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” When Jesus had said these things, he departed and hid himself from them.	Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.” When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself from them.

38	This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet: “Lord, who has believed our message? 39	For this reason they were unable to believe. For again, Isaiah says:	Therefore they could not believe. For again Isaiah said,	For this reason they could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere:
40	“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so that they cannot see with their eyes, and understand with their hearts, and turn, and I would heal them.”	“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, lest they see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I would heal them.”	“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn—and I would heal them.”

42	Nevertheless, many of the leaders believed in Him. But because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, for fear that they would be put out of the synagogue. 44	Then Jesus cried out, “Whoever believes in Me does not believe in Me alone, but in the One who sent Me.	And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me.	Then Jesus cried out, “Whoever believes in me does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me.
45	And whoever sees Me sees the One who sent Me.	And whoever sees me sees him who sent me.	The one who looks at me is seeing the one who sent me.
46	I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in Me should remain in darkness.	I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.	I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.
47	As for anyone who hears My words and does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world.	If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.	“If anyone hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge that person. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.
48	There is a judge for the one who rejects Me and does not receive My words: The word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day.
49	I have not spoken on My own, but the Father who sent Me has commanded Me what to say and how to say it.	For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak.	For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken.
50	And I know that His command leads to eternal life. So I speak exactly what the Father has told Me to say.”	And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me.”	I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.”
