Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them.1“Moreover, you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet yarns; you shall make them with cherubim skillfully worked into them.
The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure.2The length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits; all the curtains shall be the same size.
The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.3Five curtains shall be coupled to one another, and the other five curtains shall be coupled to one another.
And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.4And you shall make loops of blue on the edge of the outermost curtain in the first set. Likewise you shall make loops on the edge of the outermost curtain in the second set.
Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another.5Fifty loops you shall make on the one curtain, and fifty loops you shall make on the edge of the curtain that is in the second set; the loops shall be opposite one another.
And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.6And you shall make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains one to the other with the clasps, so that the tabernacle may be a single whole.
And thou shalt make curtains of goats' hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make.7“You shall also make curtains of goats’ hair for a tent over the tabernacle; eleven curtains shall you make.
The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure.8The length of each curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits. The eleven curtains shall be the same size.
And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle.9You shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and the sixth curtain you shall double over at the front of the tent.
And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.10You shall make fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in one set, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in the second set.
And thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.11“You shall make fifty clasps of bronze, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together that it may be a single whole.
And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle.12And the part that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the tabernacle.
And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.13And the extra that remains in the length of the curtains, the cubit on the one side, and the cubit on the other side, shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle, on this side and that side, to cover it.
And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins.14And you shall make for the tent a covering of tanned rams’ skins and a covering of goatskins on top.
And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up.15“You shall make upright frames for the tabernacle of acacia wood.
Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board.16Ten cubits shall be the length of a frame, and a cubit and a half the breadth of each frame.
Two tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle.17There shall be two tenons in each frame, for fitting together. So shall you do for all the frames of the tabernacle.
And thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward.18You shall make the frames for the tabernacle: twenty frames for the south side;
And thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.19and forty bases of silver you shall make under the twenty frames, two bases under one frame for its two tenons, and two bases under the next frame for its two tenons;
And for the second side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards:20and for the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side twenty frames,
And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.21and their forty bases of silver, two bases under one frame, and two bases under the next frame.
And for the sides of the tabernacle westward thou shalt make six boards.22And for the rear of the tabernacle westward you shall make six frames.
And two boards shalt thou make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.23And you shall make two frames for corners of the tabernacle in the rear;
And they shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the head of it unto one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners.24they shall be separate beneath, but joined at the top, at the first ring. Thus shall it be with both of them; they shall form the two corners.
And they shall be eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.25And there shall be eight frames, with their bases of silver, sixteen bases; two bases under one frame, and two bases under another frame.
And thou shalt make bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,26“You shall make bars of acacia wood, five for the frames of the one side of the tabernacle,
And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the two sides westward.27and five bars for the frames of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the frames of the side of the tabernacle at the rear westward.
And the middle bar in the midst of the boards shall reach from end to end.28The middle bar, halfway up the frames, shall run from end to end.
And thou shalt overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and thou shalt overlay the bars with gold.29You shall overlay the frames with gold and shall make their rings of gold for holders for the bars, and you shall overlay the bars with gold.
And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount.30Then you shall erect the tabernacle according to the plan for it that you were shown on the mountain.
And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made:31“And you shall make a veil of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen. It shall be made with cherubim skillfully worked into it.
And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver.32And you shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold, with hooks of gold, on four bases of silver.
And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy.33And you shall hang the veil from the clasps, and bring the ark of the testimony in there within the veil. And the veil shall separate for you the Holy Place from the Most Holy.
And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.34You shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the Most Holy Place.
And thou shalt set the table without the vail, and the candlestick over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou shalt put the table on the north side.35And you shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand on the south side of the tabernacle opposite the table, and you shall put the table on the north side.
And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework.36“You shall make a screen for the entrance of the tent, of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework.
And thou shalt make for the hanging five pillars of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold: and thou shalt cast five sockets of brass for them.37And you shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia, and overlay them with gold. Their hooks shall be of gold, and you shall cast five bases of bronze for them.
