1It is good to give thanks to the LORD and to sing praise to your name, Most High;1מִזְמ֥וֹר שִׁ֗יר לְי֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּֽת׃ ט֗וֹב לְהֹד֥וֹת לַיהוָ֑ה וּלְזַמֵּ֖ר לְשִׁמְךָ֣ עֶלְיֽוֹן׃
2to proclaim your gracious love in the morning and your faithfulness at night,2לְהַגִּ֣יד בַּבֹּ֣קֶר חַסְֽדֶּ֑ךָ וֶ֝אֱמֽוּנָתְךָ֗ בַּלֵּילֽוֹת׃
3accompanied by a ten-stringed instrument and a lyre, and the contemplative sound of a harp.3עֲ‍ֽלֵי־ עָ֭שׂוֹר וַעֲלֵי־ נָ֑בֶל עֲלֵ֖י הִגָּי֣וֹן בְּכִנּֽוֹר׃
4Because you made me glad with your awesome deeds, LORD, I will sing for joy at the works of your hands.4כִּ֤י שִׂמַּחְתַּ֣נִי יְהוָ֣ה בְּפָעֳלֶ֑ךָ בְּֽמַעֲשֵׂ֖י יָדֶ֣יךָ אֲרַנֵּֽן׃
5How great are your works, LORD! Your thoughts are unfathomable. 5מַה־ גָּדְל֣וּ מַעֲשֶׂ֣יךָ יְהוָ֑ה מְ֝אֹ֗ד עָמְק֥וּ מַחְשְׁבֹתֶֽיךָ׃
6A stupid man doesn't know, and a fool can't comprehend this:6אִֽישׁ־ בַּ֭עַר לֹ֣א יֵדָ֑ע וּ֝כְסִ֗יל לֹא־ יָבִ֥ין אֶת־ זֹֽאת׃
7Though the wicked sprout like grass; and all who practice iniquity flourish, it is they who will be eternally destroyed.7בִּפְרֹ֤חַ רְשָׁעִ֨ים ׀ כְּמ֥וֹ עֵ֗שֶׂב וַ֭יָּצִיצוּ כָּל־ פֹּ֣עֲלֵי אָ֑וֶן לְהִשָּֽׁמְדָ֥ם עֲדֵי־ עַֽד׃
8But you are exalted forever, LORD.8וְאַתָּ֥ה מָר֗וֹם לְעֹלָ֥ם יְהוָֽה׃
9Look at your enemies, LORD! Look at your enemies, for they are destroyed; everyone who practices iniquity will be scattered. 9כִּ֤י הִנֵּ֪ה אֹיְבֶ֡יךָ ׀ יְֽהוָ֗ה כִּֽי־ הִנֵּ֣ה אֹיְבֶ֣יךָ יֹאבֵ֑דוּ יִ֝תְפָּרְד֗וּ כָּל־ פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃
10You've grown my strength like the horn of a wild ox; I was anointed with fresh oil.10וַתָּ֣רֶם כִּרְאֵ֣ים קַרְנִ֑י בַּ֝לֹּתִ֗י בְּשֶׁ֣מֶן רַעֲנָֽן׃
11My eyes gloated over those who lie in wait for me; when those of evil intent attack me, my ears will hear.11וַתַּבֵּ֥ט עֵינִ֗י בְּשׁ֫וּרָ֥י בַּקָּמִ֖ים עָלַ֥י מְרֵעִ֗ים תִּשְׁמַ֥עְנָה אָזְנָֽי׃
12The righteous will flourish like palm trees; they will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.12צַ֭דִּיק כַּתָּמָ֣ר יִפְרָ֑ח כְּאֶ֖רֶז בַּלְּבָנ֣וֹן יִשְׂגֶּֽה׃
13Planted in the LORD's Temple, they will flourish in the courtyard of our God.13שְׁ֭תוּלִים בְּבֵ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה בְּחַצְר֖וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣ינוּ יַפְרִֽיחוּ׃
14They will still bear fruit even in old age; they will be luxuriant and green.14ע֭וֹד יְנוּב֣וּן בְּשֵׂיבָ֑ה דְּשֵׁנִ֖ים וְרַֽעֲנַנִּ֣ים יִהְיֽוּ׃
15They will proclaim: "The LORD is upright; my rock, in whom there is no injustice."15לְ֭הַגִּיד כִּֽי־ יָשָׁ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה צ֝וּרִ֗י וְֽלֹא־ עלתה [עַוְלָ֥תָה] (בּֽוֹ׃)
