This is the account of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation; Noah walked with God.

Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one on earth like him, a man who is blameless and upright, who fears God and shuns evil."
Is your reverence not your confidence, and the uprightness of your ways your hope?
Though I am blameless, I have no concern for myself; I despise my life.
And He said to man, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.'"
Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and turn away from evil.
To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate arrogant pride, evil conduct, and perverse speech.
all the mixed tribes; all the kings of Uz; all the kings of the Philistines: Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod;
So rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, who dwells in the land of Uz. Yet the cup will pass to you as well; you will get drunk and expose yourself.
then even if these three men--Noah, Daniel, and Job--were in it, their righteousness could deliver only themselves, declares the Lord GOD.
then as surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, they could deliver neither son nor daughter. Their righteousness could save only themselves.
