בְּי֥וֹם
רָ֝עָ֗ה
יְֽמַלְּטֵ֥הוּ
יְהוָֽה׃
For the choirmaster.
A Psalm
of David.
Blessed
is the one who cares
for
the poor;
the LORD
will deliver him
in the day
of trouble.
{{To the chief Musician,
A Psalm
of David.
}} Blessed
[is] he that considereth
the poor:
the LORD
will deliver
him in time
of trouble.

יְהוָ֤ה ׀
יִשְׁמְרֵ֣הוּ

אֹיְבָֽיו׃
The LORD
will protect
and preserve him;
He will bless him
in the land
and refuse
to surrender him
to the will
of his foes.
The LORD
will preserve
him, and keep him alive;
[and] he shall be blessed
upon the earth:
and thou wilt not deliver
him unto the will
of his enemies.

The LORD
will sustain him
on
his bed
of illness
and restore him
from his bed
of sickness.
The LORD
will strengthen
him upon the bed
of languishing:
thou wilt make
all his bed
in his sickness.

I
said,
“O LORD,
be gracious to me;
heal
me,
for
I have sinned
against You.”
I said,
LORD,
be merciful
unto me: heal
my soul;
for I have sinned
against thee.

“When

Mine enemies

evil
of me, When shall he die,
and his name

My visitor

falsehood;
he gathers
slander
in his

he goes
out
and spreads it abroad.
And if he come
to see
[me], he speaketh
vanity:
his heart
gathereth
iniquity
to itself; [when] he goeth
abroad,
he telleth

All that hate

against me: against me do they devise
my hurt.

An evil

[say they], cleaveth fast
unto him: and [now] that he lieth
he shall rise up
no more.

Yea, mine own familiar

in whom I trusted,
which did eat
of my bread,
hath lifted up
[his] heel
against me.

But thou, O LORD,

that I may requite
them.
