אֲרוֹמִמְךָ֣
יְ֭הוָה
כִּ֣י
דִלִּיתָ֑נִי
וְלֹא־
שִׂמַּ֖חְתָּ
אֹיְבַ֣י
לִֽי׃
A Psalm.
A song
for the dedication
of the temple.
Of David.
I will exalt You,
O LORD,
for
You have lifted me up
and have not
allowed my foes
to rejoice
over me.
{{A Psalm
[and] Song
[at] the dedication
of the house
of David.
}} I will extol
thee, O LORD;
for thou hast lifted me up,
and hast not made my foes
to rejoice
over me.

יְהוָ֥ה
אֱלֹהָ֑י
שִׁוַּ֥עְתִּי
אֵ֝לֶ֗יךָ
וַתִּרְפָּאֵֽנִי׃
O LORD
my God,
I cried to You
for help,
and You healed me.
O LORD
my God,
I cried
unto thee, and thou hast healed
me.

חִ֝יִּיתַ֗נִי
[מיורדי־]
(מִיָּֽרְדִי־)
(בֽוֹר׃)
O LORD,
You pulled me
up
from
Sheol;
You spared me
from descending
into the Pit.
O LORD,
thou hast brought up
my soul
from the grave:
thou hast kept me alive,
that I should not go down
to the pit.

זַמְּר֣וּ
לַיהוָ֣ה
חֲסִידָ֑יו
וְ֝הוֹד֗וּ
לְזֵ֣כֶר
קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃
Sing
to the LORD,
O you His saints,
and praise
His holy
name.
Sing
unto the LORD,
O ye saints
of his, and give thanks
at the remembrance
of his holiness.

For
His anger
is fleeting,
but His favor
lasts a lifetime.
Weeping
may stay
the night,
but joy comes
in the morning.
For his anger
[endureth but] a moment;
in his favour
[is] life:
weeping
may endure
for a night,
but joy
[cometh] in the morning.

In prosperity
I
said,
“I will never
be shaken.”
And in my prosperity
I said,
I shall never
be moved.

O LORD,
You favored me;
You made
my mountain

When You hid
Your face,
I was
dismayed.
LORD,
by thy favour
thou hast made my mountain
to stand
strong:
thou didst hide
thy face,
[and] I was troubled.

אֵלֶ֣יךָ

To You,
O LORD,
I called,
and
I begged
my Lord for mercy:
I cried
to thee, O LORD;
and unto the LORD
I made supplication.

in my descent

Will the dust
praise You?
Will it proclaim
Your faithfulness?
What profit

when I go down
to the pit?
Shall the dust
praise
thee? shall it declare
thy truth?

Thou hast turned

thou hast put off
