1 A praise psalm by David. I will exalt you, my God, the King. I will praise your name forever and ever. I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. A psalm of praise. Of David. I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.
2 Every day I will praise you. I will extol your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.
3 Great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised! His greatness is unsearchable. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.
4 One generation will commend your works to another, and will declare your mighty acts. One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.
5 I will meditate on the glorious majesty of your honor, on your wondrous works. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
6 Men will speak of the might of your awesome acts. I will declare your greatness. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. They tell of the power of your awesome works— and I will proclaim your great deeds.
7 They will utter the memory of your great goodness, and will sing of your righteousness. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness. They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
8 Yahweh is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and of great loving kindness. The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.
9 Yahweh is good to all. His tender mercies are over all his works. The LORD is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.
10 All your works will give thanks to you, Yahweh. Your saints will extol you. All your works shall give thanks to you, O LORD, and all your saints shall bless you! All your works praise you, LORD; your faithful people extol you.
11 They will speak of the glory of your kingdom, and talk about your power, They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and tell of your power, They tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might,
12 to make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, the glory of the majesty of his kingdom. to make known to the children of man your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. so that all people may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. Your dominion endures throughout all generations. Yahweh is faithful in all his words, and loving in all his deeds. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations.
