1 Praise to David. I will exalt thee my God, the King, and I will praise thy name forever and ever. I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. A psalm of praise. Of David. I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.
2 In all the day I will praise thee, and I will praise thy name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.
3 Great is Jehovah, and being greatly praised; and to his greatness no search. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.
4 Generation to generation shall praise thy works, and they shall announce thy powers. One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.
5 I will speak the splendor of the honor of thy majesty, and the words of thy wonders. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
6 And they shall tell the strength of thy terrible things, and I will recount thy greatnesses. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. They tell of the power of your awesome works— and I will proclaim your great deeds.
7 They shall pour forth the remembrance of the multitude of thy goodness, and they shall shout forth thy justice. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness. They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
8 Jehovah is compassionate and merciful; slow to anger, and great of mercy. The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.
9 Jehovah is good to all, and his mercies over all his works. The LORD is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.
10 All thy works shall praise thee, O Jehovah, and thy godly ones shall praise thee. All your works shall give thanks to you, O LORD, and all your saints shall bless you! All your works praise you, LORD; your faithful people extol you.
11 They shall tell the glory of thy kingdom, and they shall speak of thy strength; They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and tell of your power, They tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might,
12 To make known to the sons of man his powers, and the glory of the majesty of his kingdom. to make known to the children of man your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. so that all people may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
13 Thy kingdom a kingdom of all times, and thy dominion in every generation and generation. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations.
