I will praise Jehovah in my life; I will play on the harp to my God in my continuing. I will praise the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
Ye shall not trust in nobles: in the son of man, to him no salvation. Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.
His spirit shall go forth, he shall turn back to his earth; in that day his thoughts perished. When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish. When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing.
Happy is he the God of Jacob for his help, his hope upon Jehovah his God: Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD their God.
He made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them: he watched the truth forever. who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever; He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— he remains faithful forever.
He did judgment for the oppressed; he gave bread to the hungering: Jehovah loosed those being bound. who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free; He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free,
Jehovah opened the eyes of the blind: Jehovah raised those being bowed down: Jehovah loved the just. the LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts up those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous. the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous.
Jehovah watched the strangers he will restore the orphan and the widow, and he will overturn the way of the unjust. The LORD watches over the sojourners; he upholds the widow and the fatherless, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. The LORD watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
Jehovah shall reign forever, thy God, O Zion, to generation and generation. Praise ye Jah. The LORD will reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD! The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the LORD.
