1 [A Psalm of] praise; of David. I will extol Thee, my God, O King; And I will bless Thy name for ever and ever. I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. A psalm of praise. Of David. I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.
2 Every day will I bless Thee; And I will praise Thy name for ever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.
3 Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.
4 One generation shall laud Thy works to another, And shall declare Thy mighty acts. One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.
5 The glorious splendour of Thy majesty, And Thy wondrous works, will I rehearse. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
6 And men shall speak of the might of Thy tremendous acts; And I will tell of Thy greatness. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. They tell of the power of your awesome works— and I will proclaim your great deeds.
7 They shall utter the fame of Thy great goodness, And shall sing of Thy righteousness. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness. They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; Slow to anger, and of great mercy. The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.
9 The LORD is good to all; And His tender mercies are over all His works. The LORD is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.
10 All Thy works shall praise Thee, O LORD; And Thy saints shall bless Thee. All your works shall give thanks to you, O LORD, and all your saints shall bless you! All your works praise you, LORD; your faithful people extol you.
11 They shall speak of the glory of Thy kingdom, And talk of Thy might; They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and tell of your power, They tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might,
12 To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, And the glory of the majesty of His kingdom. to make known to the children of man your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. so that all people may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
13 Thy kingdom is a kingdom for all ages, And Thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. [The LORD is faithful in all his words and kind in all his works.] Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.
14 The LORD upholdeth all that fall, And raiseth up all those that are bowed down. The LORD upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down. The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
15 The eyes of all wait for Thee, And Thou givest them their food in due season. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in due season. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time.
16 Thou openest Thy hand, And satisfiest every living thing with favour. You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.

21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD; And let all flesh bless His holy name for ever and ever. Let every creature praise his holy name for ever and ever.
