27 καὶ μετὰ τὸ ψωμίον τότε εἰσῆλθεν εἰς ἐκεῖνον Σατανᾶς Λέγει οὖν αὐτῷ ‹ὁ› Ἰησοῦς ποιεῖς ποίησον τάχιον Then after he had taken the morsel, Satan entered into him. Jesus said to him, “What you are going to do, do quickly.” As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Jesus told him, “What you are about to do, do quickly.”
28 τοῦτο δὲ οὐδεὶς ἔγνω τῶν ἀνακειμένων πρὸς τί εἶπεν αὐτῷ Now no one at the table knew why he said this to him. But no one at the meal understood why Jesus said this to him.
29 τινὲς γὰρ ἐδόκουν ἐπεὶ τὸ γλωσσόκομον εἶχεν Ἰούδας ὅτι λέγει αὐτῷ ‹ὁ› Ἰησοῦς Ἀγόρασον ὧν χρείαν ἔχομεν εἰς τὴν ἑορτήν τοῖς πτωχοῖς ἵνα τι δῷ Some thought that, because Judas had the moneybag, Jesus was telling him, “Buy what we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor. Since Judas had charge of the money, some thought Jesus was telling him to buy what was needed for the festival, or to give something to the poor.
30 λαβὼν οὖν τὸ ψωμίον ἐκεῖνος ἐξῆλθεν εὐθύς ἦν δὲ νύξ So, after receiving the morsel of bread, he immediately went out. And it was night. As soon as Judas had taken the bread, he went out. And it was night.
