Then Moses and the people of Israel sang this song to the LORD, saying, “I will sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea. Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the LORD: “I will sing to the LORD, for he is highly exalted. Both horse and driver he has hurled into the sea.
The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. My strength and my refuge is the LORD, and he has become my savior. This is my God, I praise him; the God of my father, I extol him. “The LORD is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

“Pharaoh’s chariots and his host he cast into the sea, and his chosen officers were sunk in the Red Sea. Pharaoh’s chariots and army he hurled into the sea; the elite of his officers were drowned in the Red Sea. Pharaoh’s chariots and his army he has hurled into the sea. The best of Pharaoh’s officers are drowned in the Red Sea.
The floods covered them; they went down into the depths like a stone. The flood waters covered them, they sank into the depths like a stone. The deep waters have covered them; they sank to the depths like a stone.
Your right hand, O LORD, glorious in power, your right hand, O LORD, shatters the enemy. Your right hand, O LORD, magnificent in power, your right hand, O LORD, shattered the enemy. Your right hand, LORD, was majestic in power. Your right hand, LORD, shattered the enemy.
In the greatness of your majesty you overthrow your adversaries; you send out your fury; it consumes them like stubble. In your great majesty you overthrew your adversaries; you loosed your wrath to consume them like stubble. “In the greatness of your majesty you threw down those who opposed you. You unleashed your burning anger; it consumed them like stubble.
At the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up; the floods stood up in a heap; the deeps congealed in the heart of the sea. At the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up, the flowing waters stood like a mound, the flood waters foamed in the midst of the sea. By the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up. The surging waters stood up like a wall; the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea.
The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil, my desire shall have its fill of them. I will draw my sword; my hand shall destroy them.’ The enemy boasted, “I will pursue and overtake them; I will divide the spoils and have my fill of them; I will draw my sword; my hand will despoil them!” The enemy boasted, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake them. I will divide the spoils; I will gorge myself on them. I will draw my sword and my hand will destroy them.’
You blew with your wind; the sea covered them; they sank like lead in the mighty waters. When you blew with your breath, the sea covered them; like lead they sank in the mighty waters. But you blew with your breath, and the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
“Who is like you, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders? Who is like you among the gods, O LORD? 12 You stretched out your right hand; the earth swallowed them. when you stretched out your right hand, the earth swallowed them! “You stretch out your right hand, and the earth swallows your enemies.
“You have led in your steadfast love the people whom you have redeemed; you have guided them by your strength to your holy abode. In your love you led the people you redeemed; in your strength you guided them to your holy dwelling. In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling.
The peoples have heard; they tremble; pangs have seized the inhabitants of Philistia. The peoples heard and quaked; anguish gripped the dwellers in Philistia. The nations will hear and tremble; anguish will grip the people of Philistia.
Now are the chiefs of Edom dismayed; trembling seizes the leaders of Moab; all the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away. Then were the chieftains of Edom dismayed, the nobles of Moab seized by trembling; All the inhabitants of Canaan melted away; The chiefs of Edom will be terrified, the leaders of Moab will be seized with trembling, the people of Canaan will melt away;
Terror and dread fall upon them; because of the greatness of your arm, they are still as a stone, till your people, O LORD, pass by, till the people pass by whom you have purchased. terror and dread fell upon them. By the might of your arm they became silent like stone, while your people, LORD, passed over, while the people whom you created passed over. terror and dread will fall on them. By the power of your arm they will be as still as a stone— until your people pass by, LORD, until the people you bought pass by.
You will bring them in and plant them on your own mountain, the place, O LORD, which you have made for your abode, the sanctuary, O Lord, which your hands have established. You brought them in, you planted them on the mountain that is your own— The place you made the base of your throne, LORD, the sanctuary, LORD, your hands established. You will bring them in and plant them on the mountain of your inheritance— the place, LORD, you made for your dwelling, the sanctuary, Lord, your hands established.

For when the horses of Pharaoh with his chariots and his horsemen went into the sea, the LORD brought back the waters of the sea upon them, but the people of Israel walked on dry ground in the midst of the sea. When Pharaoh’s horses and chariots and horsemen entered the sea, the LORD made the waters of the sea flow back upon them, though the Israelites walked on dry land through the midst of the sea. When Pharaoh’s horses, chariots and horsemen went into the sea, the LORD brought the waters of the sea back over them, but the Israelites walked through the sea on dry ground.
