New American Standard Bible 1995International Standard Version
Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.1Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his gracious love is eternal.
Oh let Israel say, "His lovingkindness is everlasting."2Let Israel now say, "His gracious love is eternal."
Oh let the house of Aaron say, "His lovingkindness is everlasting."3Let the house of Aaron now say, "His gracious love is eternal."
Oh let those who fear the LORD say, "His lovingkindness is everlasting."4Let those who fear the LORD now say, "His gracious love is eternal."
From my distress I called upon the LORD; The LORD answered me and set me in a large place.5I called on the LORD in my distress; the LORD answered me openly.
The LORD is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?6The LORD is with me. I will not be afraid. What can people do to me?
The LORD is for me among those who help me; Therefore I will look with satisfaction on those who hate me.7With the LORD beside me as my helper, I will triumph over those who hate me.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD Than to trust in man.8It is better to take shelter in the LORD than to trust in people.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD Than to trust in princes.9It is better to take shelter in the LORD than to trust in princes.
All nations surrounded me; In the name of the LORD I will surely cut them off.10All the nations surrounded me; but in the name of the LORD I will defeat them.
They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me; In the name of the LORD I will surely cut them off.11They surrounded me, they are around me; but in the name of the LORD I will defeat them.
They surrounded me like bees; They were extinguished as a fire of thorns; In the name of the LORD I will surely cut them off.12They surrounded me like bees; but they will be extinguished like burning thorns. In the name of the LORD I will defeat them.
You pushed me violently so that I was falling, But the LORD helped me.13Indeed, you oppressed me so much that I nearly fell, but the LORD helped me.
The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.14The LORD is my strength and protector, for he has become my deliverer.
The sound of joyful shouting and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.15There's exultation for deliverance in the tents of the righteous: "The right hand of the LORD is victorious!
The right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.16The right hand of the LORD is exalted! The right hand of the LORD is victorious!"
I will not die, but live, And tell of the works of the LORD.17I will not die, but I will live to recount the deeds of the LORD.
The LORD has disciplined me severely, But He has not given me over to death.18The LORD will discipline me severely, but he won't hand me over to die.
Open to me the gates of righteousness; I shall enter through them, I shall give thanks to the LORD.19Open for me the righteous gates so I may enter through them to give thanks to the LORD.
This is the gate of the LORD; The righteous will enter through it.20This is the LORD's gate— The righteous will enter through it.
I shall give thanks to You, for You have answered me, And You have become my salvation.21I will praise you because you have answered me and have become my deliverer.
The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief corner stone.22The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
This is the LORD'S doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.23This is from the LORD— it is awesome in our sight.
This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.24This is the day that the LORD has made; let's rejoice and be glad in it.
O LORD, do save, we beseech You; O LORD, we beseech You, do send prosperity!25Please LORD, deliver us! Please LORD, hurry and bring success now!
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the LORD; We have blessed you from the house of the LORD.26Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the LORD! Let us bless you from the LORD's house.
The LORD is God, and He has given us light; Bind the festival sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar.27The LORD is God—he will be our light! Bind the festival sacrifice with ropes to the horn at the altar.
You are my God, and I give thanks to You; You are my God, I extol You.28You are my God, and I will praise you; my God, and I will exalt you.
Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.29Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good and his gracious love is eternal.
