| 17[an error occurred while processing this directive] | 17His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for your house will consume me." |
| 18[an error occurred while processing this directive] | 18Then the Jewish leaders asked him, "What sign can you show us as authority for doing these things?" |
| 19[an error occurred while processing this directive] | 19Jesus answered them, "Destroy this sanctuary, and in three days I will rebuild it." |
| 20[an error occurred while processing this directive] | 20The Jewish leaders said, "This sanctuary has been under construction for 46 years, and you're going to rebuild it in three days?" |
| 21[an error occurred while processing this directive] | 21But the sanctuary he was speaking about was his own body. |
| 22[an error occurred while processing this directive] | 22After he had been raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this. So they believed the Scripture and the statement that Jesus had made. |
