Jeremiah 25
The New Messianic Version of the Bible
The word that came to Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] concerning all the people of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] in the fourth year of Y’hoyakim [Yehovah raises up] the son of Yoshiyahu [whom Yehovah heals] king of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], that [was] the first year of N’vukhadretzar [may Nebo protect the crown] king of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion]; 2The which Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] the prophet spoke unto all the people of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], and to all the inhabitants of Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], saying, 3From the thirteenth year of Yoshiyahu [whom Yehovah heals] the son of ‘Amon [master workman] king of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], even unto this day, that [is] the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) has come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but you2f have not listened. 4And the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) has sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending [them]; but you2f have not listened, nor inclined your ear to hear. 5They said, Turn you2f again now everyone from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) has given unto you and to your fathers forever and ever: 6And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt. 7Yet you2f have not listened unto me, says the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate); that you2f might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt.

Therefore thus says the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies]; Because you2f have not heard my words, 9Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, says the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and N’vukhadretzar [may Nebo protect the crown] the king of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion], my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations. 10Moreover I will take from them the voice of gladness, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle. 11And this whole land shall be a desolation, [and] an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion] seventy years.

And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, [that] I will punish the king of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion], and that nation, says the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), for their iniquity, and the land of the Kasdim [clod-breakers], and will make it perpetual desolations. 13And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, [even] all that is written in this book, which Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] has prophesied against all the nations. 14For many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of them also: and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands.

For thus says the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) God-Elohim (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send youi, to drink it. 16And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.

Then took I the cup at the LORD-Yehovah’s [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) had sent me: 18[To wit], Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], and the cities of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as [it is] this day; 19Par’oh [Pharaoh - Great House] king of Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place], and his servants, and his princes, and all his people; 20And all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Utz [wooded], and all the kings of the land of the P’lishtim [Immigrants], and Ashkelon [The Fire of Infamy: I shall be Weighed], and ‘Azah [The Strong], and ‘Ekron [Torn Up by the Roots], and the remnant of Ashdod [powerful], 21Edom [Red], and Mo’av [Seed of my Father], and the children of ‘Amon [Inbred], 22And all the kings of Tzor (Tyrus) [a rock], and all the kings of Tzidon [Hunting], and the kings of the isles which [are] beyond the sea, 23D’dan [low country], and Teima [desert], and Buz [contempt], and all [that are] in the utmost corners, 24And all the kings of Arabia [steppe-dwellers], and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the desert, 25And all the kings of Zimri [My Music], and all the kings of ‘Eilam [eternity], and all the kings of the Medes [middle land], 26And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which [are] upon the face of the earth: and the king of Sheshakh [your fine linen] shall drink last of them [all].

Therefore youi shall say unto them, Thus says the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies], the God-Elohim (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God]; Drink you2f, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you. 28And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at youri hand to drink, then shall youi say unto them, Thus says the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies]; You2f shall certainly drink. 29For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should you2f be utterly unpunished? You2f shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, says the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies].

Therefore prophesy youi against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that trample [the grapes], against all the inhabitants of the earth.

A noise shall come [even] to the ends of the earth; for the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) has a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them [that are] wicked to the sword, says the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).

Thus says the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies], Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.

And the slain of the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) shall be at that day from [one] end of the earth even unto the [other] end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.

Howl, you2f shepherds, and cry; and wallow (to approve, commend, accept) yourselves [in the ashes], you2f principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and you2f shall fall like a prized vase.

And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape.

A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and an howling of the principal of the flock, [shall be heard]: for the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) has spoiled their pasture.

And the peaceable habitations are cut down because of the fierce anger of the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).

He has forsaken his colonnade, as the lion: for their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.
