And having come, the Pharisees and Sadducees, testing Him, asked Him to show them a sign out of heaven.

And answering, He said to them, “Evening having come, you? say, ‘Fair weather, for the sky is red,’

and in the morning, ‘Today a storm, for the sky is red, being overcast.’ Indeed, you? know to discern the face of the sky, but the signs of the times you? are not able.

An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and a sign will not be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” And having left them, He went away.

And the disciples, having come to the other side, forgot to take loaves.

And Jesus said to them, “Watch out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

And they were reasoning among themselves, saying, “Because we took no loaves.”

But having known this, Jesus said, “Why do you? reason among yourselves, O little of faith, that you? have no loaves?

Do you? not yet perceive? Nor do you? remember the five loaves for the five thousand and how many hand-baskets you? took up,

nor the seven loaves for the four thousand and how many baskets you? took up?

How do you? not perceive that I did not speak to you? about loaves? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

Then they understood that He did not say to beware of the leaven of the loaves, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

And Jesus, having come into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, was questioning His disciples, saying, “Who do men say the Son of Man is?”

And they said, “Some indeed, John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; and others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”

He says to them, “But you?, who do you? say I am?”

And answering, Simon Peter said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

And answering, Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but My Father who is in the heavens.

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.

I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of the heavens. And whatever you might bind on the earth will be bound in the heavens, and whatever you might loose on the earth will be loosed in the heavens.”
