In You, O Yahweh, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed. In you, O LORD, do I take refuge; let me never be put to shame! In you, LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame.
In Your righteousness deliver me and protect me; Incline Your ear to me and save me. In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; incline your ear to me, and save me! In your righteousness, rescue me and deliver me; turn your ear to me and save me.
Be to me a rock of habitation to which I may continually come; You have given the command to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress. Be to me a rock of refuge, to which I may continually come; you have given the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.
Protect me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, Out of the grasp of the unrighteous and ruthless man, Rescue me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of the unjust and cruel man. Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel.
For You are my hope; O Lord Yahweh, You are my trust from my youth. For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O LORD, from my youth. For you have been my hope, Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth.
By You I have been sustained from my birth; You are He who took me from my mother’s womb; My praise is continually of You. Upon you I have leaned from before my birth; you are he who took me from my mother’s womb. My praise is continually of you. From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother’s womb. I will ever praise you.
I have become a marvel to many, For You are my strong refuge. I have been as a portent to many, but you are my strong refuge. I have become a sign to many; you are my strong refuge.
My mouth is filled with Your praise And with Your beauty all day long. My mouth is filled with your praise, and with your glory all the day. My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long.
Do not cast me off in the time of old age; Do not forsake me when my strength fails. Do not cast me off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent. Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone.
For my enemies have spoken against me; And those who watch my life have counseled together, For my enemies speak concerning me; those who watch for my life consult together For my enemies speak against me; those who wait to kill me conspire together.
Saying, “God has forsaken him; Pursue and seize him, for there is no one to deliver.” and say, “God has forsaken him; pursue and seize him, for there is none to deliver him.” They say, “God has forsaken him; pursue him and seize him, for no one will rescue him.”
O God, do not be far from me; O my God, hasten to my help! O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste to help me! Do not be far from me, my God; come quickly, God, to help me.
Let those who accuse my soul be ashamed and consumed; Let them be wrapped up with reproach and dishonor, who seek to do me evil. May my accusers be put to shame and consumed; with scorn and disgrace may they be covered who seek my hurt. May my accusers perish in shame; may those who want to harm me be covered with scorn and disgrace.
But as for me, I will wait continually, And will praise You yet more and more. But I will hope continually and will praise you yet more and more. As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more.
My mouth shall recount Your righteousness And of Your salvation all day long; For I do not know the sum of them. My mouth will tell of your righteous acts, of your deeds of salvation all the day, for their number is past my knowledge. My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds, of your saving acts all day long— though I know not how to relate them all.
I will come with the mighty deeds of Lord Yahweh; I will bring to remembrance Your righteousness, Yours alone. With the mighty deeds of the Lord GOD I will come; I will remind them of your righteousness, yours alone. I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, Sovereign LORD; I will proclaim your righteous deeds, yours alone.
O God, You have taught me from my youth, And I still declare Your wondrous deeds. O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds. Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.
And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your might to all who are to come. So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.
For Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the heavens, You who have done great things; O God, who is like You? Your righteousness, O God, reaches the high heavens. You who have done great things, O God, who is like you? Your righteousness, God, reaches to the heavens, you who have done great things. Who is like you, God?
You, who have shown me many troubles and evils, Will revive me again, And will bring me up again from the depths of the earth. You who have made me see many troubles and calamities will revive me again; from the depths of the earth you will bring me up again. Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up.
May You increase my greatness And turn to comfort me. You will increase my greatness and comfort me again. You will increase my honor and comfort me once more.
I will also praise You with a harp, Even Your truth, O my God; To You I will sing praises with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel. I will also praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praises to you with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel. I will praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, my God; I will sing praise to you with the lyre, Holy One of Israel.
My lips will sing for joy when I sing praises to You; And my soul, which You have redeemed. My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to you; my soul also, which you have redeemed. My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you— I whom you have delivered.
My tongue also will utter Your righteousness all day long; For they are ashamed, for they are humiliated who seek to do me evil. And my tongue will talk of your righteous help all the day long, for they have been put to shame and disappointed who sought to do me hurt. My tongue will tell of your righteous acts all day long, for those who wanted to harm me have been put to shame and confusion.
