Of the servant of the L ord, David, who spoke the words of this song to the L ord on the day the L ord rescued him from the grasp of all his enemies and from the power of Saul. ”8224; He said: I love you, LORD, my strength.	I love you, O LORD, my strength.	For the director of music. Of David the servant of the LORD. He sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: I love you, LORD, my strength.
2	The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock where I seek refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.	The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 12	From the radiance of his presence, his clouds swept onward with hail and blazing coals.	Out of the brightness before him hailstones and coals of fire broke through his clouds.	Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced, with hailstones and bolts of lightning.
13	The LORD thundered from heaven; the Most High made his voice heard.	The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Most High uttered his voice, hailstones and coals of fire.	The LORD thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded.

22	Indeed, I let all his ordinances guide me and have not disregarded his statutes.	For all his rules were before me, and his statutes I did not put away from me.	All his laws are before me; I have not turned away from his decrees.
23	I was blameless toward him and kept myself from my iniquity.	I was blameless before him, and I kept myself from my guilt.	I have been blameless before him and have kept myself from sin.
24	So the LORD repaid me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.	So the LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight. 25	With the faithful you prove yourself faithful, with the blameless you prove yourself blameless,	With the merciful you show yourself merciful; with the blameless man you show yourself blameless;	To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless,
26	with the pure you prove yourself pure, but with the crooked you prove yourself shrewd.	with the purified you show yourself pure; and with the crooked you make yourself seem tortuous.	to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the devious you show yourself shrewd.
27	For you rescue an oppressed people, but you humble those with haughty eyes.	For you save a humble people, but the haughty eyes you bring down.	You save the humble but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.
28	LORD, you light my lamp; my God illuminates my darkness.	For it is you who light my lamp; the LORD my God lightens my darkness.	You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.
29	With you I can attack a barricade, and with my God I can leap over a wall.	For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall.	With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.
30	God—his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is pure. He is a shield to all who take refuge in him.	This God—his way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.	As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.
31	For who is God besides the LORD? And who is a rock? Only our God.	For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God?—	For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God?
32	God—he clothes me with strength and makes my way perfect.	the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless.	It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.

41	They cry for help, but there is no one to save them — they cry to the LORD, but he does not answer them. 43	You have freed me from the feuds among the people; you have appointed me the head of nations; a people I had not known serve me. 44	Foreigners submit to me cringing; as soon as they hear they obey me.	As soon as they heard of me they obeyed me; foreigners came cringing to me.	foreigners cower before me; as soon as they hear of me, they obey me.
45	Foreigners lose heart and come trembling from their fortifications.	Foreigners lost heart and came trembling out of their fortresses.	They all lose heart; they come trembling from their strongholds.
46	The LORD lives—blessed be my rock! The God of my salvation is exalted.	The LORD lives, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of my salvation—	The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior!
47	God—he grants me vengeance and subdues peoples under me.	the God who gave me vengeance and subdued peoples under me,	He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me,
48	He frees me from my enemies. You exalt me above my adversaries; you rescue me from violent men.	who rescued me from my enemies; yes, you exalted me above those who rose against me; you delivered me from the man of violence.	who saves me from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from a violent man you rescued me.
49	Therefore I will give thanks to you among the nations, LORD; I will sing praises about your name.	For this I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations, and sing to your name.	Therefore I will praise you, LORD, among the nations; I will sing the praises of your name.
50	He gives great victories to his king; he shows loyalty to his anointed, to David and his descendants forever.	Great salvation he brings to his king, and shows steadfast love to his anointed, to David and his offspring forever.	He gives his king great victories; he shows unfailing love to his anointed, to David and to his descendants forever.
