1	הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ ׀ כִּי־ ט֭וֹב זַמְּרָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ כִּֽי־ נָ֝עִים נָאוָ֥ה תְהִלָּֽה׃	Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting.	Praise the LORD. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
2	בּוֹנֵ֣ה יְרוּשָׁלִַ֣ם יְהוָ֑ה נִדְחֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל יְכַנֵּֽס׃	The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the outcasts of Israel.	The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel.
3	הָ֭רֹפֵא לִשְׁב֣וּרֵי לֵ֑ב וּ֝מְחַבֵּ֗שׁ לְעַצְּבוֹתָֽם׃	He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.	He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
4	מוֹנֶ֣ה מִ֭סְפָּר לַכּוֹכָבִ֑ים לְ֝כֻלָּ֗ם שֵׁמ֥וֹת יִקְרָֽא׃	He determines the number of the stars; he gives to all of them their names.	He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.
5	גָּד֣וֹל אֲדוֹנֵ֣ינוּ וְרַב־ כֹּ֑חַ לִ֝תְבוּנָת֗וֹ אֵ֣ין מִסְפָּֽר׃	Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.	Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.
6	מְעוֹדֵ֣ד עֲנָוִ֣ים יְהוָ֑ה מַשְׁפִּ֖יל רְשָׁעִ֣ים עֲדֵי־ אָֽרֶץ׃	The LORD lifts up the humble; he casts the wicked to the ground.	The LORD sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground.
7	עֱנ֣וּ לַיהוָ֣ה בְּתוֹדָ֑ה זַמְּר֖וּ לֵאלֹהֵ֣ינוּ בְכִנּֽוֹר׃	Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; make melody to our God on the lyre!	Sing to the LORD with grateful praise; make music to our God on the harp.
8	הַֽמְכַסֶּ֬ה שָׁמַ֨יִם ׀ בְּעָבִ֗ים הַמֵּכִ֣ין לָאָ֣רֶץ מָטָ֑ר הַמַּצְמִ֖יחַ הָרִ֣ים חָצִֽיר׃	He covers the heavens with clouds; he prepares rain for the earth; he makes grass grow on the hills.	He covers the sky with clouds; he supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills.
9	נוֹתֵ֣ן לִבְהֵמָ֣ה לַחְמָ֑הּ לִבְנֵ֥י עֹ֝רֵ֗ב אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִקְרָֽאוּ׃	He gives to the beasts their food, and to the young ravens that cry.	He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens when they call.
10	לֹ֤א בִגְבוּרַ֣ת הַסּ֣וּס יֶחְפָּ֑ץ לֹֽא־ בְשׁוֹקֵ֖י הָאִ֣ישׁ יִרְצֶֽה׃	His delight is not in the strength of the horse, nor his pleasure in the legs of a man,	His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior;
11	רוֹצֶ֣ה יְ֭הוָה אֶת־ יְרֵאָ֑יו אֶת־ הַֽמְיַחֲלִ֥ים לְחַסְדּֽוֹ׃	but the LORD takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love.	the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.
12	שַׁבְּחִ֣י יְ֭רוּשָׁלִַם אֶת־ יְהוָ֑ה הַֽלְלִ֖י אֱלֹהַ֣יִךְ צִיּֽוֹן׃	Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion!	Extol the LORD, Jerusalem; praise your God, Zion.
13	כִּֽי־ חִ֭זַּק בְּרִיחֵ֣י שְׁעָרָ֑יִךְ בֵּרַ֖ךְ בָּנַ֣יִךְ בְּקִרְבֵּֽךְ׃	For he strengthens the bars of your gates; he blesses your children within you.	He strengthens the bars of your gates and blesses your people within you.
14	הַשָּׂם־ גְּבוּלֵ֥ךְ שָׁל֑וֹם חֵ֥לֶב חִ֝טִּ֗ים יַשְׂבִּיעֵֽךְ׃	He makes peace in your borders; he fills you with the finest of the wheat.	He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.
15	הַשֹּׁלֵ֣חַ אִמְרָת֣וֹ אָ֑רֶץ עַד־ מְ֝הֵרָ֗ה יָר֥וּץ דְּבָרֽוֹ׃	He sends out his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly.	He sends his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly.
16	הַנֹּתֵ֣ן שֶׁ֣לֶג כַּצָּ֑מֶר כְּ֝פ֗וֹר כָּאֵ֥פֶר יְפַזֵּֽר׃	He gives snow like wool; he scatters frost like ashes.	He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes.
17	מַשְׁלִ֣יךְ קַֽרְח֣וֹ כְפִתִּ֑ים לִפְנֵ֥י קָ֝רָת֗וֹ מִ֣י יַעֲמֹֽד׃	He hurls down his crystals of ice like crumbs; who can stand before his cold?	He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can withstand his icy blast?
18	יִשְׁלַ֣ח דְּבָר֣וֹ וְיַמְסֵ֑ם יַשֵּׁ֥ב ר֝וּח֗וֹ יִזְּלוּ־ מָֽיִם׃	He sends out his word, and melts them; he makes his wind blow and the waters flow.	He sends his word and melts them; he stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow.
19	מַגִּ֣יד [דברו] (דְּבָרָ֣יו) לְיַעֲקֹ֑ב חֻקָּ֥יו וּ֝מִשְׁפָּטָ֗יו לְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃	He declares his word to Jacob, his statutes and rules to Israel.	He has revealed his word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel.
20	לֹ֘א עָ֤שָׂה כֵ֨ן ׀ לְכָל־ גּ֗וֹי וּמִשְׁפָּטִ֥ים בַּל־ יְדָע֗וּם הַֽלְלוּ־ יָֽהּ׃	He has not dealt thus with any other nation; they do not know his rules. Praise the LORD!	He has done this for no other nation; they do not know his laws. Praise the LORD.
