1 {A Psalm of praise. Of David.} I will extol thee, my God, O King, and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. A psalm of praise. Of David. I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.
2 Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.
3 Great is Jehovah, and exceedingly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.
4 One generation shall laud thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.
5 I will speak of the glorious splendour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
6 And they shall tell of the might of thy terrible acts; and thy great deeds will I declare. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. They tell of the power of your awesome works— and I will proclaim your great deeds.
7 They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness. They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
8 Jehovah is gracious and merciful; slow to anger, and of great loving-kindness. The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.
9 Jehovah is good to all; and his tender mercies are over all his works. The LORD is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.
10 All thy works shall praise thee, Jehovah, and thy saints shall bless thee. All your works shall give thanks to you, O LORD, and all your saints shall bless you! All your works praise you, LORD; your faithful people extol you.
11 They shall tell of the glory of thy kingdom, and speak of thy power; They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and tell of your power, They tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might,
12 To make known to the children of men his mighty acts, and the glorious splendour of his kingdom. to make known to the children of man your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. so that all people may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
13 Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all ages, and thy dominion is throughout all generations. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. [The LORD is faithful in all his words and kind in all his works.] Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.
14 Jehovah upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all that are bowed down. The LORD upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down. The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their food in its season. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in due season. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time.
