1 Then the LORD called to Moses and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting, saying, The LORD called Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting, saying, And the LORD called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying, Now the LORD called to Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting, saying, The LORD called to Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting. He said,
2 “Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When any of you brings an offering to the LORD, you may bring as your offering an animal from the herd or the flock. “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When any one of you brings an offering to the LORD, you shall bring your offering of livestock from the herd or from the flock. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, <i>even</i> of the herd, and of the flock. “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When anyone of you brings an offering to the LORD, you shall bring your offering of livestock from the herd or the flock. “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When anyone among you brings an offering to the LORD, bring as your offering an animal from either the herd or the flock.
3 If one’s offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he is to present an unblemished male. He must bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting for its acceptance before the LORD. “If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish. He shall bring it to the entrance of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the LORD. If his offering <i>be</i> a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD. If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without defect; he shall offer it at the doorway of the tent of meeting, so that he may be accepted before the LORD. “’If the offering is a burnt offering from the herd, you are to offer a male without defect. You must present it at the entrance to the tent of meeting so that it will be acceptable to the LORD.
4 He is to lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, so it can be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him. He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him. And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him. And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, so that it may be accepted for him to make atonement on his behalf. You are to lay your hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on your behalf to make atonement for you.
5 And he shall slaughter the young bull before the LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests are to present the blood and sprinkle it on all sides of the altar at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Then he shall kill the bull before the LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall bring the blood and throw the blood against the sides of the altar that is at the entrance of the tent of meeting. And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that <i>is by</i> the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. Then he shall slaughter the bull before the LORD; and Aaron’s sons the priests shall offer up the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the doorway of the tent of meeting. You are to slaughter the young bull before the LORD, and then Aaron’s sons the priests shall bring the blood and splash it against the sides of the altar at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
6 Next, he is to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces. Then he shall flay the burnt offering and cut it into pieces, And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces. He shall then skin the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces. You are to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.
7 The sons of Aaron the priest shall put a fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire. and the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire. And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire: And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire. The sons of Aaron the priest are to put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.
8 Then Aaron’s sons the priests are to arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat, atop the burning wood on the altar. And Aaron’s sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, the head, and the fat, on the wood that is on the fire on the altar; And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that <i>is</i> on the fire which <i>is</i> upon the altar: Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, <i>with</i> the head and the suet, on the wood which is on the fire that is on the altar. Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat, on the wood that is burning on the altar.
9 The entrails and legs must be washed with water, and the priest shall burn all of it on the altar as a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. but its entrails and its legs he shall wash with water. And the priest shall burn all of it on the altar, as a burnt offering, a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the LORD. But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, <i>to be</i> a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD. Its entrails, however, and its legs he shall wash with water. And the priest shall offer all of it up in smoke on the altar as a burnt offering, an offering by fire as a soothing aroma to the LORD. You are to wash the internal organs and the legs with water, and the priest is to burn all of it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
10 If, however, one’s offering is a burnt offering from the flock— from the sheep or goats— he is to present an unblemished male. “If his gift for a burnt offering is from the flock, from the sheep or goats, he shall bring a male without blemish, And if his offering <i>be</i> of the flocks, <i>namely</i>, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish. ‘But if his offering is from the flock, <i>either</i> from the sheep or from the goats, as a burnt offering, he shall offer a male without defect. “’If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, from either the sheep or the goats, you are to offer a male without defect.
11 He shall slaughter it on the north side of the altar before the LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests are to sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides. and he shall kill it on the north side of the altar before the LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall throw its blood against the sides of the altar. And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar. And he shall slaughter it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar. You are to slaughter it at the north side of the altar before the LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar.
12 He is to cut the animal into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and fat, atop the burning wood that is on the altar. And he shall cut it into pieces, with its head and its fat, and the priest shall arrange them on the wood that is on the fire on the altar, And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that <i>is</i> on the fire which <i>is</i> upon the altar: He shall then cut it into its pieces with its head and its suet, and the priest shall arrange them on the wood which is on the fire that is on the altar. You are to cut it into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and the fat, on the wood that is burning on the altar.

14 If, instead, one’s offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, he is to present a turtledove or a young pigeon. “If his offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves or pigeons. And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD <i>be</i> of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons. ‘But if his offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall bring his offering from the turtledoves or from young doves. “’If the offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, you are to offer a dove or a young pigeon.
15 Then the priest shall bring it to the altar, twist off its head, and burn it on the altar; its blood should be drained out on the side of the altar. And the priest shall bring it to the altar and wring off its head and burn it on the altar. Its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar. And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn <i>it</i> on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar: The priest shall bring it to the altar, and pinch off its head, and offer it up in smoke on the altar; and its blood is to be drained out on the side of the altar. The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off the head and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar.
16 And he is to remove the crop with its contents and throw it to the east side of the altar, in the place for ashes. He shall remove its crop with its contents and cast it beside the altar on the east side, in the place for ashes. And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes: He shall also remove its craw with its feathers and throw it beside the altar eastward, to the place of the fatty ashes. He is to remove the crop and the feathers and throw them down east of the altar where the ashes are.
17 He shall tear it open by its wings, without dividing the bird completely. And the priest is to burn it on the altar atop the burning wood. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. He shall tear it open by its wings, but shall not sever it completely. And the priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt offering, a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the LORD. And he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, <i>but</i> shall not divide <i>it</i> asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that <i>is</i> upon the fire: it <i>is</i> a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD. Then he shall tear it by its wings, <i>but</i> shall not sever <i>it.</i> And the priest shall offer it up in smoke on the altar, on the wood which is on the fire; it is a burnt offering, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD. He shall tear it open by the wings, not dividing it completely, and then the priest shall burn it on the wood that is burning on the altar. It is a burnt offering, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
