1 Abraham married again, and his wife's name was Keturah. Abraham took another wife, whose name was Keturah. Abraham had taken another wife, whose name was Keturah.
2 Keturah gave birth to these sons of Abraham: Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah.

21 Isaac prayed to the LORD for his wife because she was childless. The LORD answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant. 24 When the time came for her to give birth, she had twins. When her days to give birth were completed, behold, there were twins in her womb. When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb.

27 They grew up. Esau became an expert hunter, an outdoorsman. Jacob remained a quiet man, staying around the tents. When the boys grew up, Esau was a skillful hunter, a man of the field, while Jacob was a quiet man, dwelling in tents. 30 So Esau said to Jacob, |Let me have the whole pot of red stuff to eat-that red stuff-I'm exhausted.| This is why he was called Edom. And Esau said to Jacob, “Let me eat some of that red stew, for I am exhausted!” (Therefore his name was called Edom.) He said to Jacob, “Quick, let me have some of that red stew! I’m famished!” (That is why he was also called Edom.)
31 Jacob responded, |First, sell me your rights as firstborn.| Jacob said, “Sell me your birthright now.” Jacob replied, “First sell me your birthright.”
32 |I'm about to die.| Esau said. |What good is my inheritance to me?| Esau said, “I am about to die; of what use is a birthright to me?” “Look, I am about to die,” Esau said. “What good is the birthright to me?”
33 |First, swear an oath,| Jacob said. So Esau swore an oath to him and sold him his rights as firstborn. Jacob said, “Swear to me now.” So he swore to him and sold his birthright to Jacob. But Jacob said, “Swear to me first.” So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob.
34 Then Jacob gave Esau a meal of bread and lentils. He ate and drank, and then he got up and left. This is how Esau showed his contempt for his rights as firstborn. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew, and he ate and drank and rose and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright. Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew.
