1 Now Abraham (father of many) had taken another wife, named Keturah (incense), Abraham took another wife, whose name was Keturah. Abraham had taken another wife, whose name was Keturah.

32 “Look,” said Esau (hairy), “I am about to die, so what good is a birthright to me?” Esau said, “I am about to die; of what use is a birthright to me?” “Look, I am about to die,” Esau said. “What good is the birthright to me?”
33 “Swear to me first,” Jacob (he grasps the heel) said. So Esau swore to Jacob and sold him the birthright. Jacob said, “Swear to me now.” So he swore to him and sold his birthright to Jacob. But Jacob said, “Swear to me first.” So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob.
34 Then Jacob (he grasps the heel) gave some bread and lentil stew to Esau (hairy), who ate and drank and then got up and went away. Thus Esau despised his birthright. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew, and he ate and drank and rose and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright. Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew.
