1 “This is the thing that you shall do to them to make them holy, to minister to me in the priest’s office: take one young bull and two rams without defect, “Now this is what you shall do to them to consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests. 10 “You shall bring the bull before the Tent of Meeting; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the bull. “Then you shall bring the bull before the tent of meeting. 12 You shall take of the blood of the bull, and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger; and you shall pour out all the blood at the base of the altar. and shall take part of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and the rest of the blood you shall pour out at the base of the altar. Take some of the bull’s blood and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and pour out the rest of it at the base of the altar.
13 You shall take all the fat that covers the innards, the cover of the liver, the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, and burn them on the altar. And you shall take all the fat that covers the entrails, and the long lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, and burn them on the altar. Then take all the fat on the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, and both kidneys with the fat on them, and burn them on the altar.
14 But the meat of the bull, and its skin, and its dung, you shall burn with fire outside of the camp. It is a sin offering. But the flesh of the bull and its skin and its dung you shall burn with fire outside the camp; it is a sin offering. But burn the bull’s flesh and its hide and its intestines outside the camp. It is a sin offering.
15 “You shall also take the one ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram. “Then you shall take one of the rams, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram, “Take one of the rams, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.
16 You shall kill the ram, and you shall take its blood, and sprinkle it around on the altar. and you shall kill the ram and shall take its blood and throw it against the sides of the altar. Slaughter it and take the blood and splash it against the sides of the altar.
17 You shall cut the ram into its pieces, and wash its innards, and its legs, and put them with its pieces, and with its head. Then you shall cut the ram into pieces, and wash its entrails and its legs, and put them with its pieces and its head, Cut the ram into pieces and wash the internal organs and the legs, putting them with the head and the other pieces.
18 You shall burn the whole ram on the altar: it is a burnt offering to Yahweh; it is a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh. and burn the whole ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the LORD. It is a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD. Then burn the entire ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the LORD, a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the LORD.

Then splash blood against the sides of the altar.
21 You shall take of the blood that is on the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron, and on his garments, and on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be made holy, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him. Then you shall take part of the blood that is on the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and his garments, and on his sons and his sons’ garments with him. He and his garments shall be holy, and his sons and his sons’ garments with him. And take some blood from the altar and some of the anointing oil and sprinkle it on Aaron and his garments and on his sons and their garments. Then he and his sons and their garments will be consecrated.
22 Also you shall take some of the ram’s fat, the fat tail, the fat that covers the innards, the cover of the liver, the two kidneys, the fat that is on them, and the right thigh (for it is a ram of consecration), “You shall also take the fat from the ram and the fat tail and the fat that covers the entrails, and the long lobe of the liver and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, and the right thigh (for it is a ram of ordination), “Take from this ram the fat, the fat tail, the fat on the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, both kidneys with the fat on them, and the right thigh. (This is the ram for the ordination.)
23 and one loaf of bread, one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer out of the basket of unleavened bread that is before Yahweh. and one loaf of bread and one cake of bread made with oil, and one wafer out of the basket of unleavened bread that is before the LORD. From the basket of bread made without yeast, which is before the LORD, take one round loaf, one thick loaf with olive oil mixed in, and one thin loaf.
24 You shall put all of this in Aaron’s hands, and in his sons’ hands, and shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh. You shall put all these on the palms of Aaron and on the palms of his sons, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD. Put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons and have them wave them before the LORD as a wave offering.
25 You shall take them from their hands, and burn them on the altar on the burnt offering, for a pleasant aroma before Yahweh: it is an offering made by fire to Yahweh. Then you shall take them from their hands and burn them on the altar on top of the burnt offering, as a pleasing aroma before the LORD. It is a food offering to the LORD. Then take them from their hands and burn them on the altar along with the burnt offering for a pleasing aroma to the LORD, a food offering presented to the LORD.
26 “You shall take the breast of Aaron’s ram of consecration, and wave it for a wave offering before Yahweh. It shall be your portion. “You shall take the breast of the ram of Aaron’s ordination and wave it for a wave offering before the LORD, and it shall be your portion. After you take the breast of the ram for Aaron’s ordination, wave it before the LORD as a wave offering, and it will be your share.
27 You shall sanctify the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the wave offering, which is waved, and which is raised up, of the ram of consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons. And you shall consecrate the breast of the wave offering that is waved and the thigh of the priests’ portion that is contributed from the ram of ordination, from what was Aaron’s and his sons’. “Consecrate those parts of the ordination ram that belong to Aaron and his sons: the breast that was waved and the thigh that was presented.
28 It shall be for Aaron and his sons as their portion forever from the children of Israel; for it is a wave offering. It shall be a wave offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifices of their peace offerings, even their wave offering to Yahweh. It shall be for Aaron and his sons as a perpetual due from the people of Israel, for it is a contribution. It shall be a contribution from the people of Israel from their peace offerings, their contribution to the LORD. This is always to be the perpetual share from the Israelites for Aaron and his sons. It is the contribution the Israelites are to make to the LORD from their fellowship offerings.
29 “The holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him, to be anointed in them, and to be consecrated in them. “The holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him; they shall be anointed in them and ordained in them. “Aaron’s sacred garments will belong to his descendants so that they can be anointed and ordained in them.
30 Seven days shall the son who is priest in his place put them on, when he comes into the Tent of Meeting to minister in the holy place. The son who succeeds him as priest, who comes into the tent of meeting to minister in the Holy Place, shall wear them seven days. The son who succeeds him as priest and comes to the tent of meeting to minister in the Holy Place is to wear them seven days.
31 “You shall take the ram of consecration and boil its meat in a holy place. “You shall take the ram of ordination and boil its flesh in a holy place. “Take the ram for the ordination and cook the meat in a sacred place.
32 Aaron and his sons shall eat the meat of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, at the door of the Tent of Meeting. And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram and the bread that is in the basket in the entrance of the tent of meeting. At the entrance to the tent of meeting, Aaron and his sons are to eat the meat of the ram and the bread that is in the basket.
33 They shall eat those things with which atonement was made, to consecrate and sanctify them; but a stranger shall not eat of it, because they are holy. They shall eat those things with which atonement was made at their ordination and consecration, but an outsider shall not eat of them, because they are holy. They are to eat these offerings by which atonement was made for their ordination and consecration. But no one else may eat them, because they are sacred.
34 If anything of the meat of the consecration, or of the bread, remains to the morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire. It shall not be eaten, because it is holy. And if any of the flesh for the ordination or of the bread remain until the morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire. It shall not be eaten, because it is holy. And if any of the meat of the ordination ram or any bread is left over till morning, burn it up. It must not be eaten, because it is sacred.
35 “You shall do so to Aaron and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded you. You shall consecrate them seven days. “Thus you shall do to Aaron and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded you. Through seven days shall you ordain them, “Do for Aaron and his sons everything I have commanded you, taking seven days to ordain them.
36 Every day you shall offer the bull of sin offering for atonement. You shall cleanse the altar when you make atonement for it. You shall anoint it, to sanctify it. and every day you shall offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement. Also you shall purify the altar, when you make atonement for it, and shall anoint it to consecrate it. Sacrifice a bull each day as a sin offering to make atonement. Purify the altar by making atonement for it, and anoint it to consecrate it.
37 Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and the altar shall be most holy. Whatever touches the altar shall be holy. Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar and consecrate it, and the altar shall be most holy. Whatever touches the altar shall become holy. For seven days make atonement for the altar and consecrate it. Then the altar will be most holy, and whatever touches it will be holy.
38 “Now this is that which you shall offer on the altar: two lambs a year old day by day continually. “Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two lambs a year old day by day regularly. “This is what you are to offer on the altar regularly each day: two lambs a year old.
39 The one lamb you shall offer in the morning; and the other lamb you shall offer at evening; One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight. Offer one in the morning and the other at twilight.
40 and with the one lamb a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mixed with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil, and the fourth part of a hin of wine for a drink offering. And with the first lamb a tenth measure of fine flour mingled with a fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and a fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering. With the first lamb offer a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil from pressed olives, and a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering.
41 The other lamb you shall offer at evening, and shall do to it according to the meal offering of the morning and according to its drink offering, for a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh. The other lamb you shall offer at twilight, and shall offer with it a grain offering and its drink offering, as in the morning, for a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD. Sacrifice the other lamb at twilight with the same grain offering and its drink offering as in the morning—a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the LORD.
42 It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the Tent of Meeting before Yahweh, where I will meet with you, to speak there to you. It shall be a regular burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the tent of meeting before the LORD, where I will meet with you, to speak to you there. “For the generations to come this burnt offering is to be made regularly at the entrance to the tent of meeting, before the LORD. There I will meet you and speak to you;
43 There I will meet with the children of Israel; and the place shall be sanctified by my glory. There I will meet with the people of Israel, and it shall be sanctified by my glory. there also I will meet with the Israelites, and the place will be consecrated by my glory.
44 I will sanctify the Tent of Meeting and the altar. I will also sanctify Aaron and his sons to minister to me in the priest’s office. I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar. Aaron also and his sons I will consecrate to serve me as priests. “So I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar and will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests.
45 I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God. I will dwell among the people of Israel and will be their God. Then I will dwell among the Israelites and be their God.
46 They shall know that I am Yahweh their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them: I am Yahweh their God. And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt that I might dwell among them. I am the LORD their God. They will know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them out of Egypt so that I might dwell among them. I am the LORD their God.
