1	And this is the thing which thou shalt do to them to hallow them, that they may serve me as priests: take one young bullock, and two rams without blemish,	“Now this is what you shall do to them to consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests. Take one bull of the herd and two rams without blemish,	“This is what you are to do to consecrate them, so they may serve me as priests: Take a young bull and two rams without defect.
2	and unleavened bread, and unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil -- of wheaten flour shalt thou make them.	and unleavened bread, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers smeared with oil. You shall make them of fine wheat flour.	And from the finest wheat flour make round loaves without yeast, thick loaves without yeast and with olive oil mixed in, and thin loaves without yeast and brushed with olive oil.
3	And thou shalt put them into one basket, and present them in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams.	You shall put them in one basket and bring them in the basket, and bring the bull and the two rams.	Put them in a basket and present them along with the bull and the two rams.
4	And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring near the entrance of the tent of meeting, and shalt bathe them with water.	You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.	Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the tent of meeting and wash them with water.
5	And thou shalt take the garments, and clothe Aaron with the vest, and the cloak of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and shalt gird him with the girdle of the ephod.	Then you shall take the garments, and put on Aaron the coat and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastpiece, and gird him with the skillfully woven band of the ephod.	Take the garments and dress Aaron with the tunic, the robe of the ephod, the ephod itself and the breastpiece. Fasten the ephod on him by its skillfully woven waistband.
6	And thou shalt put the turban upon his head, and fasten the holy diadem to the turban,	And you shall set the turban on his head and put the holy crown on the turban.	Put the turban on his head and attach the sacred emblem to the turban.
7	and shalt take the anointing oil, and pour [it] on his head, and anoint him.	You shall take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him.	Take the anointing oil and anoint him by pouring it on his head.
8	And thou shalt bring his sons near, and clothe them with the vests.	Then you shall bring his sons and put coats on them,	Bring his sons and dress them in tunics
9	And thou shalt gird them with the girdle -- Aaron and his sons, and bind the high caps on them; and the priesthood shall be theirs for an everlasting statute; and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons.	and you shall gird Aaron and his sons with sashes and bind caps on them. And the priesthood shall be theirs by a statute forever. Thus you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.	and fasten caps on them. Then tie sashes on Aaron and his sons. The priesthood is theirs by a lasting ordinance. “Then you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.
10	And thou shalt present the bullock before the tent of meeting; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock;	“Then you shall bring the bull before the tent of meeting. Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the bull.	“Bring the bull to the front of the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.
11	and thou shalt slaughter the bullock before Jehovah, at the entrance of the tent of meeting;	Then you shall kill the bull before the LORD at the entrance of the tent of meeting,	Slaughter it in the LORD’s presence at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
12	and thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put it on the horns of the altar with thy finger, and shalt pour all the blood at the bottom of the altar.	and shall take part of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and the rest of the blood you shall pour out at the base of the altar.	Take some of the bull’s blood and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and pour out the rest of it at the base of the altar.
13	And thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the net of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar.	And you shall take all the fat that covers the entrails, and the long lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, and burn them on the altar.	Then take all the fat on the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, and both kidneys with the fat on them, and burn them on the altar.
14	And the flesh of the bullock, and its skin, and its dung, shalt thou burn with fire outside the camp: it is a sin-offering.	But the flesh of the bull and its skin and its dung you shall burn with fire outside the camp; it is a sin offering.	But burn the bull’s flesh and its hide and its intestines outside the camp. It is a sin offering.
15	And thou shalt take one of the rams, and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram;	“Then you shall take one of the rams, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram,	“Take one of the rams, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.
16	and thou shalt slaughter the ram, and shalt take its blood, and sprinkle [it] on the altar round about.	and you shall kill the ram and shall take its blood and throw it against the sides of the altar.	Slaughter it and take the blood and splash it against the sides of the altar.
17	And thou shalt cut up the ram into its pieces, and wash its inwards, and its legs, and put [them] upon its pieces, and upon its head;	Then you shall cut the ram into pieces, and wash its entrails and its legs, and put them with its pieces and its head,	Cut the ram into pieces and wash the internal organs and the legs, putting them with the head and the other pieces.
18	and thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt-offering to Jehovah -- a sweet odour; it is an offering by fire to Jehovah.	and burn the whole ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the LORD. It is a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD.	Then burn the entire ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the LORD, a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the LORD.
19	And thou shalt take the second ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram;	“You shall take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram,	“Take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.
20	and thou shalt slaughter the ram, and take of its blood, and put [it] on the tip of the [right] ear of Aaron, and on the tip of the right ear of his sons, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great toe of their right foot; and thou shalt sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.	and you shall kill the ram and take part of its blood and put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron and on the tips of the right ears of his sons, and on the thumbs of their right hands and on the great toes of their right feet, and throw the rest of the blood against the sides of the altar.	Slaughter it, take some of its blood and put it on the lobes of the right ears of Aaron and his sons, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. Then splash blood against the sides of the altar.
21	And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle [it] on Aaron, and on his garments, and on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him; and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.	Then you shall take part of the blood that is on the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and his garments, and on his sons and his sons’ garments with him. He and his garments shall be holy, and his sons and his sons’ garments with him.	And take some blood from the altar and some of the anointing oil and sprinkle it on Aaron and his garments and on his sons and their garments. Then he and his sons and their garments will be consecrated.
22	Also of the ram shalt thou take the fat, and the fat-tail, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the net of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder -- for it is a ram of consecration --	“You shall also take the fat from the ram and the fat tail and the fat that covers the entrails, and the long lobe of the liver and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, and the right thigh (for it is a ram of ordination),	“Take from this ram the fat, the fat tail, the fat on the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, both kidneys with the fat on them, and the right thigh. (This is the ram for the ordination.)
23	and one loaf of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer out of the basket of the unleavened [bread] that is before Jehovah;	and one loaf of bread and one cake of bread made with oil, and one wafer out of the basket of unleavened bread that is before the LORD.	From the basket of bread made without yeast, which is before the LORD, take one round loaf, one thick loaf with olive oil mixed in, and one thin loaf.
24	and thou shalt put all this in the hands of Aaron, and in the hands of his sons, and shalt wave them as a wave-offering before Jehovah.	You shall put all these on the palms of Aaron and on the palms of his sons, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD.	Put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons and have them wave them before the LORD as a wave offering.
25	And thou shalt receive them of their hand and burn [them] upon the altar over the burnt-offering, for a sweet odour before Jehovah: it is an offering by fire to Jehovah.	Then you shall take them from their hands and burn them on the altar on top of the burnt offering, as a pleasing aroma before the LORD. It is a food offering to the LORD.	Then take them from their hands and burn them on the altar along with the burnt offering for a pleasing aroma to the LORD, a food offering presented to the LORD.
26	And thou shalt take the breast of the ram of consecration which is for Aaron, and wave it as a wave-offering before Jehovah; and it shall be thy part.	“You shall take the breast of the ram of Aaron’s ordination and wave it for a wave offering before the LORD, and it shall be your portion.	After you take the breast of the ram for Aaron’s ordination, wave it before the LORD as a wave offering, and it will be your share.
27	And thou shalt hallow the breast of the wave-offering, and the shoulder of the heave-offering, that hath been waved and heaved up, of the ram of the consecration, of that which is for Aaron, and of [that] which is for his sons.	And you shall consecrate the breast of the wave offering that is waved and the thigh of the priests’ portion that is contributed from the ram of ordination, from what was Aaron’s and his sons’.	“Consecrate those parts of the ordination ram that belong to Aaron and his sons: the breast that was waved and the thigh that was presented.
28	And they shall be for Aaron and his sons, as an everlasting statute, on the part of the children of Israel; for it is a heave-offering; and it shall be a heave-offering on the part of the children of Israel of the sacrifices of their peace-offerings, [as] their heave-offering to Jehovah.	It shall be for Aaron and his sons as a perpetual due from the people of Israel, for it is a contribution. It shall be a contribution from the people of Israel from their peace offerings, their contribution to the LORD.	This is always to be the perpetual share from the Israelites for Aaron and his sons. It is the contribution the Israelites are to make to the LORD from their fellowship offerings.
29	And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them.	“The holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him; they shall be anointed in them and ordained in them.	“Aaron’s sacred garments will belong to his descendants so that they can be anointed and ordained in them.
30	The son that is priest in his stead shall put them on seven days, when he cometh into the tent of meeting to serve in the sanctuary.	The son who succeeds him as priest, who comes into the tent of meeting to minister in the Holy Place, shall wear them seven days.	The son who succeeds him as priest and comes to the tent of meeting to minister in the Holy Place is to wear them seven days.
31	And thou shalt take the ram of the consecration, and boil its flesh in a holy place.	“You shall take the ram of ordination and boil its flesh in a holy place.	“Take the ram for the ordination and cook the meat in a sacred place.
32	And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, at the entrance of the tent of meeting.	And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram and the bread that is in the basket in the entrance of the tent of meeting.	At the entrance to the tent of meeting, Aaron and his sons are to eat the meat of the ram and the bread that is in the basket.
33	They shall eat the things with which the atonement was made, to consecrate [and] to hallow them; but a stranger shall not eat [of them], for they are holy.	They shall eat those things with which atonement was made at their ordination and consecration, but an outsider shall not eat of them, because they are holy.	They are to eat these offerings by which atonement was made for their ordination and consecration. But no one else may eat them, because they are sacred.
34	And if [any] of the flesh of the consecration, and of the bread, remain until the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, for it is holy.	And if any of the flesh for the ordination or of the bread remain until the morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire. It shall not be eaten, because it is holy.	And if any of the meat of the ordination ram or any bread is left over till morning, burn it up. It must not be eaten, because it is sacred.
35	And thus shalt thou do to Aaron, and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them.	“Thus you shall do to Aaron and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded you. Through seven days shall you ordain them,	“Do for Aaron and his sons everything I have commanded you, taking seven days to ordain them.
36	And thou shalt offer every day a bullock as a sin-offering for atonement; and the altar shalt thou cleanse from sin, by making atonement for it, and shalt anoint it, to hallow it.	and every day you shall offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement. Also you shall purify the altar, when you make atonement for it, and shall anoint it to consecrate it.	Sacrifice a bull each day as a sin offering to make atonement. Purify the altar by making atonement for it, and anoint it to consecrate it.
37	Seven days shalt thou make atonement for the altar and hallow it; and the altar shall be most holy: whatever toucheth the altar shall be holy.	Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar and consecrate it, and the altar shall be most holy. Whatever touches the altar shall become holy.	For seven days make atonement for the altar and consecrate it. Then the altar will be most holy, and whatever touches it will be holy.
38	And this is what thou shalt offer upon the altar -- two lambs of the first year, day by day continually.	“Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two lambs a year old day by day regularly.	“This is what you are to offer on the altar regularly each day: two lambs a year old.
39	The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer between the two evenings.	One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight.	Offer one in the morning and the other at twilight.
40	And with the one lamb a tenth part of wheaten flour mingled with beaten oil, a fourth part of a hin; and a drink-offering, a fourth part of a hin of wine.	And with the first lamb a tenth measure of fine flour mingled with a fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and a fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering.	With the first lamb offer a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil from pressed olives, and a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering.
41	And the second lamb shalt thou offer between the two evenings; as the oblation in the morning, and as its drink-offering shalt thou offer with this, for a sweet odour, an offering by fire to Jehovah.	The other lamb you shall offer at twilight, and shall offer with it a grain offering and its drink offering, as in the morning, for a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD.	Sacrifice the other lamb at twilight with the same grain offering and its drink offering as in the morning—a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the LORD.
42	It shall be a continual burnt-offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the tent of meeting before Jehovah, where I will meet with you, to speak there with thee.	It shall be a regular burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the tent of meeting before the LORD, where I will meet with you, to speak to you there.	“For the generations to come this burnt offering is to be made regularly at the entrance to the tent of meeting, before the LORD. There I will meet you and speak to you;
43	And there will I meet with the children of Israel; and it shall be hallowed by my glory.	There I will meet with the people of Israel, and it shall be sanctified by my glory.	there also I will meet with the Israelites, and the place will be consecrated by my glory.
44	And I will hallow the tent of meeting, and the altar; and I will hallow Aaron and his sons, that they may serve me as priests.	I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar. Aaron also and his sons I will consecrate to serve me as priests.	“So I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar and will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests.
45	And I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel, and will be their God.	I will dwell among the people of Israel and will be their God.	Then I will dwell among the Israelites and be their God.
46	And they shall know that I am Jehovah their God, who have brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, to dwell in their midst: I am Jehovah their God.	And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt that I might dwell among them. I am the LORD their God.	They will know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them out of Egypt so that I might dwell among them. I am the LORD their God.
