Psalm 108
NASB Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995English Standard Version
A Song, a Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, I will sing praises, even with my soul.1My heart is steadfast, O God! I will sing and make melody with all my being!
Awake, harp and lyre; I will awaken the dawn!2Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn!
I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations.3I will give thanks to you, O LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.
For Your lovingkindness is great above the heavens, And Your truth reaches to the skies.4For your steadfast love is great above the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth.5Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!
That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and answer me!6That your beloved ones may be delivered, give salvation by your right hand and answer me!
God has spoken in His holiness: "I will exult, I will portion out Shechem And measure out the valley of Succoth.7God has promised in his holiness: “With exultation I will divide up Shechem and portion out the Valley of Succoth.
"Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet of My head; Judah is My scepter.8Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter.
"Moab is My washbowl; Over Edom I shall throw My shoe; Over Philistia I will shout aloud."9Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
Who will bring me into the besieged city? Who will lead me to Edom?10Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
Have not You Yourself, O God, rejected us? And will You not go forth with our armies, O God?11Have you not rejected us, O God? You do not go out, O God, with our armies.
Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain.12Oh grant us help against the foe, for vain is the salvation of man!
Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries.13With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.
