Psalm 108
NASB Parallel CSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995Christian Standard Bible
A Song, a Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, I will sing praises, even with my soul.1My heart is confident, God; I will sing; I will sing praises with the whole of my being.
Awake, harp and lyre; I will awaken the dawn!2Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn.
I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations.3I will praise you, LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.
For Your lovingkindness is great above the heavens, And Your truth reaches to the skies.4For your faithful love is higher than the heavens, and your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth.5God, be exalted above the heavens, and let your glory be over the whole earth.
That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and answer me!6Save with your right hand and answer me so that those you love may be rescued.
God has spoken in His holiness: "I will exult, I will portion out Shechem And measure out the valley of Succoth.7God has spoken in his sanctuary: "I will celebrate! I will divide up Shechem. I will apportion the Valley of Succoth.
"Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet of My head; Judah is My scepter.8Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine, and Ephraim is my helmet; Judah is my scepter.
"Moab is My washbowl; Over Edom I shall throw My shoe; Over Philistia I will shout aloud."9Moab is my washbasin; I throw my sandal on Edom. I shout in triumph over Philistia."
Who will bring me into the besieged city? Who will lead me to Edom?10Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
Have not You Yourself, O God, rejected us? And will You not go forth with our armies, O God?11God, haven't you rejected us? God, you do not march out with our armies.
Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain.12Give us aid against the foe, for human help is worthless.
Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries.13With God we will perform valiantly; he will trample our foes.
