| 1“You are to build an altar of acacia wood. The altar must be square, five cubits long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high. | 1"You are to make the altar of acacia wood, seven feet six inches long, and seven feet six inches wide; the altar is to be square, and its height is to be four feet six inches. |

| 4Construct for it a grate of bronze mesh, and make a bronze ring at each of the four corners of the mesh. | 4You are to make a grating for it, a network of bronze, and you are to make on the network four bronze rings on its four corners. |
| 5Set the grate beneath the ledge of the altar, so that the mesh comes halfway up the altar. | 5You are to put it under the ledge of the altar below, so that the network will come halfway up the altar. |

| 16The gate of the courtyard shall be twenty cubits long, with a curtain embroidered with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely spun linen.
