1 Of Solomon. Endow the king with Your justice, O God, and the son of the king with Your righteousness. Give the king your justice, O God, and your righteousness to the royal son! Of Solomon. Endow the king with your justice, O God, the royal son with your righteousness.
2 May he judge Your people with righteousness and Your afflicted with justice. May he judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice! May he judge your people in righteousness, your afflicted ones with justice.
3 May the mountains bring peace to the people, and the hills bring righteousness. Let the mountains bear prosperity for the people, and the hills, in righteousness! May the mountains bring prosperity to the people, the hills the fruit of righteousness.
4 May he vindicate the afflicted among the people; may he save the children of the needy and crush the oppressor. May he defend the cause of the poor of the people, give deliverance to the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor! May he defend the afflicted among the people and save the children of the needy; may he crush the oppressor.
5 May they fear him as long as the sun shines, as long as the moon remains, through all generations. May they fear you while the sun endures, and as long as the moon, throughout all generations! May he endure as long as the sun, as long as the moon, through all generations.
6 May he be like rain that falls on freshly cut grass, like spring showers that water the earth. May he be like rain that falls on the mown grass, like showers that water the earth! May he be like rain falling on a mown field, like showers watering the earth.
7 May the righteous flourish in his days and prosperity abound until the moon is no more. In his days may the righteous flourish, and peace abound, till the moon be no more! In his days may the righteous flourish and prosperity abound till the moon is no more.
8 May he rule from sea to sea, and from the Euphrates to the ends of the earth. May he have dominion from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth! May he rule from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.

10 May the kings of Tarshish and distant shores bring tribute; may the kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts. 11 May all kings bow down to him and all nations serve him. May all kings fall down before him, all nations serve him! May all kings bow down to him and all nations serve him.
12 For he will deliver the needy who cry out and the afflicted who have no helper. For he delivers the needy when he calls, the poor and him who has no helper. For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help.
13 He will take pity on the poor and needy and save the lives of the oppressed. He has pity on the weak and the needy, and saves the lives of the needy. He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death.
14 He will redeem them from oppression and violence, for their blood is precious in his sight. From oppression and violence he redeems their life, and precious is their blood in his sight. He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight.
15 Long may he live! May gold from Sheba be given him. May people ever pray for him; may they bless him all day long. Long may he live; may gold of Sheba be given to him! 16 May there be an abundance of grain in the land; may it sway atop the hills. May its fruit trees flourish like the forests of Lebanon, the people of its cities like the grass of the field. May there be abundance of grain in the land; on the tops of the mountains may it wave; may its fruit be like Lebanon; and may people blossom in the cities like the grass of the field! May grain abound throughout the land; on the tops of the hills may it sway. May the crops flourish like Lebanon and thrive like the grass of the field.
17 May his name endure forever; may his name continue as long as the sun shines. In him may all nations be blessed; may they call him blessed. May his name endure forever, his fame continue as long as the sun! May people be blessed in him, all nations call him blessed! May his name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun. Then all nations will be blessed through him, and they will call him blessed.
18 Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things. Praise be to the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.
