IN thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be confounded. In you, O LORD, do I take refuge; let me never be put to shame! In you, LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame.
Deliver me in thy righteousness and rescue me; incline thine ear to me and save me. In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; incline your ear to me, and save me! In your righteousness, rescue me and deliver me; turn your ear to me and save me.
Be thou to me a sheltering rock whereunto I may continually resort; give thou commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress. Be to me a rock of refuge, to which I may continually come; you have given the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.
Deliver me, O God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. Rescue me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of the unjust and cruel man. Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel.
For thou art my hope, O LORD; thou art my trust from my youth, O God. For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O LORD, from my youth. For you have been my hope, Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth.
By thee have I been sustained from the womb; thou art my hope since I was in my mother's body; my praise is continually of thee. Upon you I have leaned from before my birth; you are he who took me from my mother’s womb. My praise is continually of you. From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother’s womb. I will ever praise you.
I am as a wonder to many; but thou art my strong refuge. I have been as a portent to many, but you are my strong refuge. I have become a sign to many; you are my strong refuge.
Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honor all the day. My mouth is filled with your praise, and with your glory all the day. My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long.
Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails. Do not cast me off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent. Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone.
For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lie in wait for my soul take counsel together, For my enemies speak concerning me; those who watch for my life consult together For my enemies speak against me; those who wait to kill me conspire together.
Saying, God has forsaken him; pursue and take him; for there is none to deliver him. and say, “God has forsaken him; pursue and seize him, for there is none to deliver him.” They say, “God has forsaken him; pursue him and seize him, for no one will rescue him.”
O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste for my help. O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste to help me! Do not be far from me, my God; come quickly, God, to help me.
Let them be ashamed and embarrassed who envy my soul: let them be covered with shame that seek my hurt. May my accusers be put to shame and consumed; with scorn and disgrace may they be covered who seek my hurt. May my accusers perish in shame; may those who want to harm me be covered with scorn and disgrace.
But I will pray continually, and will praise thee yet more and more. But I will hope continually and will praise you yet more and more. As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more.
My mouth shall show forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day, for I cannot read. My mouth will tell of your righteous acts, of your deeds of salvation all the day, for their number is past my knowledge. My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds, of your saving acts all day long— though I know not how to relate them all.
I will go in the strength of the LORD; I will make mention of thy righteousness even of thine only. With the mighty deeds of the Lord GOD I will come; I will remind them of your righteousness, yours alone. I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, Sovereign LORD; I will proclaim your righteous deeds, yours alone.
O God, thou hast taught me from my youth, so that I might declare thy wondrous works. O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds. Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.
Now also to old age and gray hairs, O God, forsake me not; until I have shown thy strength and thy might to the generation that is to come. So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.
Thy righteousness also, O God, has reached to the highest; thou hast done great things; O God, who is like unto thee! Your righteousness, O God, reaches the high heavens. You who have done great things, O God, who is like you? Your righteousness, God, reaches to the heavens, you who have done great things. Who is like you, God?
Thou who hast shown me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth. You who have made me see many troubles and calamities will revive me again; from the depths of the earth you will bring me up again. Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up.
Thou hast increased my greatness, and hast returned to comfort me. You will increase my greatness and comfort me again. You will increase my honor and comfort me once more.
I will also praise thee with the psaltery, I will sing to thy truth, O my God; unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel. I will also praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praises to you with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel. I will praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, my God; I will sing praise to you with the lyre, Holy One of Israel.
My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed. My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to you; my soul also, which you have redeemed. My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you— I whom you have delivered.
My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long; for they are confounded, for they are brought to shame that seek my hurt. And my tongue will talk of your righteous help all the day long, for they have been put to shame and disappointed who sought to do me hurt. My tongue will tell of your righteous acts all day long, for those who wanted to harm me have been put to shame and confusion.
