לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ עַֽל־ יְדוּת֗וּן מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃ אַ֣ךְ אֶל־ אֱ֭לֹהִים דּֽוּמִיָּ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֑י מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ יְשׁוּעָתִֽי׃ | For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. | For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David. Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. |
אַךְ־ ה֣וּא צ֭וּרִי וִֽישׁוּעָתִ֑י מִ֝שְׂגַּבִּ֗י לֹא־ אֶמּ֥וֹט רַבָּֽה׃ | He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken. | Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. |
עַד־ אָ֤נָה ׀ תְּהֽוֹתְת֣וּ עַל אִישׁ֮ תְּרָצְּח֪וּ כֻ֫לְּכֶ֥ם כְּקִ֥יר נָט֑וּי גָּ֝דֵ֗ר הַדְּחוּיָֽה׃ | How long will all of you attack a man to batter him, like a leaning wall, a tottering fence? | How long will you assault me? Would all of you throw me down— this leaning wall, this tottering fence? |
אַ֤ךְ מִשְּׂאֵת֨וֹ ׀ יָעֲצ֣וּ לְהַדִּיחַ֮ יִרְצ֪וּ כָ֫זָ֥ב בְּפִ֥יו יְבָרֵ֑כוּ וּ֝בְקִרְבָּ֗ם יְקַלְלוּ־ סֶֽלָה׃ | They only plan to thrust him down from his high position. They take pleasure in falsehood. They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. Selah | Surely they intend to topple me from my lofty place; they take delight in lies. With their mouths they bless, but in their hearts they curse. |
אַ֣ךְ לֵ֭אלֹהִים דּ֣וֹמִּי נַפְשִׁ֑י כִּי־ מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ תִּקְוָתִֽי׃ | For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. | Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. |
אַךְ־ ה֣וּא צ֭וּרִי וִֽישׁוּעָתִ֑י מִ֝שְׂגַּבִּ֗י לֹ֣א אֶמּֽוֹט׃ | He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. | Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. |
עַל־ אֱ֭לֹהִים יִשְׁעִ֣י וּכְבוֹדִ֑י צוּר־ עֻזִּ֥י מַ֝חְסִ֗י בֵּֽאלֹהִֽים׃ | On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. | My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. |
בִּטְח֘וּ ב֤וֹ בְכָל־ עֵ֨ת ׀ עָ֗ם שִׁפְכֽוּ־ לְפָנָ֥יו לְבַבְכֶ֑ם אֱלֹהִ֖ים מַחֲסֶה־ לָּ֣נוּ סֶֽלָה׃ | Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah | Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. |
אַ֤ךְ ׀ הֶ֥בֶל בְּנֵֽי־ אָדָם֮ כָּזָ֪ב בְּנֵ֫י אִ֥ישׁ בְּמֹאזְנַ֥יִם לַעֲל֑וֹת הֵ֝֗מָּה מֵהֶ֥בֶל יָֽחַד׃ | Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath. | Surely the lowborn are but a breath, the highborn are but a lie. If weighed on a balance, they are nothing; together they are only a breath. |
אַל־ תִּבְטְח֣וּ בְעֹשֶׁק֮ וּבְגָזֵ֪ל אַל־ תֶּ֫הְבָּ֥לוּ חַ֤יִל ׀ כִּֽי־ יָנ֑וּב אַל־ תָּשִׁ֥יתוּ לֵֽב׃ | Put no trust in extortion; set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them. | Do not trust in extortion or put vain hope in stolen goods; though your riches increase, do not set your heart on them. |
אַחַ֤ת ׀ דִּבֶּ֬ר אֱלֹהִ֗ים שְׁתַּֽיִם־ ז֥וּ שָׁמָ֑עְתִּי כִּ֥י עֹ֝֗ז לֵאלֹהִֽים׃ | Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God, | One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: “Power belongs to you, God, |
וּלְךָֽ־ אֲדֹנָ֥י חָ֑סֶד כִּֽי־ אַתָּ֨ה תְשַׁלֵּ֖ם לְאִ֣ישׁ כְּֽמַעֲשֵֽׂהוּ׃ | and that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to his work. | and with you, Lord, is unfailing love|; and, “You reward everyone according to what they have done.” |
