For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David, the servant of the LORD. An oracle is in my heart regarding the transgression of the wicked man: There is no fear of God before his eyes. Transgression speaks to the wicked deep in his heart; there is no fear of God before his eyes. To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. For the music director. A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD. Wrongdoing speaks to the ungodly within his heart; There is no fear of God before his eyes. For the director of music. Of David the servant of the LORD. I have a message from God in my heart concerning the sinfulness of the wicked: There is no fear of God before their eyes.
For his eyes are too full of conceit to detect or hate his own sin. For he flatters himself in his own eyes that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated. For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful. For it flatters him in his own eyes Concerning the discovery of his wrongful deed and the hatred of it. In their own eyes they flatter themselves too much to detect or hate their sin.
The words of his mouth are wicked and deceitful; he has ceased to be wise and well-doing. The words of his mouth are trouble and deceit; he has ceased to act wisely and do good. The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good. The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; He has ceased to be wise and to do good. The words of their mouths are wicked and deceitful; they fail to act wisely or do good.
Even on his bed he plots wickedness; he sets himself on a path that is not good; he fails to reject evil. He plots trouble while on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not reject evil. He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil. He plans wickedness on his bed; He sets himself on a path that is not good; He does not reject evil. Even on their beds they plot evil; they commit themselves to a sinful course and do not reject what is wrong.
Your loving devotion, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the clouds. Your steadfast love, O LORD, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. Your mercy, LORD, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Your love, LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.
Your righteousness is like the highest mountains; Your judgments are like the deepest sea. O LORD, You preserve man and beast. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judgments are like the great deep; man and beast you save, O LORD. Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; Your judgments are like the great deep. LORD, You protect mankind and animals. Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, LORD, preserve both people and animals.
How precious is Your loving devotion, O God, that the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings! How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings. How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. How precious is Your mercy, God! And the sons of mankind take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
They feast on the abundance of Your house, and You give them drink from Your river of delights. They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; And You allow them to drink from the river of Your delights. They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights.
For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. For the fountain of life is with You; In Your light we see light. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.
Extend Your loving devotion to those who know You, and Your righteousness to the upright in heart. Oh, continue your steadfast love to those who know you, and your righteousness to the upright of heart! O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart. Prolong Your mercy to those who know You, And Your righteousness to the upright of heart. Continue your love to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart.
Let not the foot of the proud come against me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away. Let not the foot of arrogance come upon me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away. Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me. May the foot of pride not come upon me, And may the hand of the wicked not drive me away. May the foot of the proud not come against me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.
There the evildoers lie fallen, thrown down and unable to rise. There the evildoers lie fallen; they are thrust down, unable to rise. There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise. Those who do injustice have fallen there; They have been thrust down and cannot rise. See how the evildoers lie fallen— thrown down, not able to rise!
