1 BLESS the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Of David. Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

3 Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases. who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that revere him. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;

13 As a father pities his children, so the LORD pities those who worship him. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him. As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
14 For he knows whereof we are made; he remembers that we are dust. For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust. for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. As for man, his days are like grass; he flourishes like a flower of the field; The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 For when the wind passes over it, it is gone; and the place thereof is known no more. for the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place knows it no more. the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.
17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that reverence him, and his righteousness to children's children, But the steadfast love of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children, But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children—
18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. to those who keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments. with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.
19 The LORD has prepared his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all. The LORD has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all. The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.
20 Bless the LORD, O you his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening to the voice of his word. Bless the LORD, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, obeying the voice of his word! Praise the LORD, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.
21 Bless you the LORD, all you his hosts; you ministers of his that do his pleasure. Bless the LORD, all his hosts, his ministers, who do his will! Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.
22 Bless the LORD, all his works, in all places of his dominion; bless the LORD, O my soul. Bless the LORD, all his works, in all places of his dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul! Praise the LORD, all his works everywhere in his dominion. Praise the LORD, my soul.
