1 Jesus was going through the grain fields on a Sabbath, and his disciples picked some heads of wheat, rubbed them in their hands, and ate them. 6 On another Sabbath, Jesus entered the synagogue and was teaching. Now a man was there whose right hand was withered. 10 After looking around at them all, he said to the man, |Stretch out your hand.| The man did so, and his hand was restored. 11 But they were filled with mindless rage and began debating with one another what they would do to Jesus. But they were filled with fury and discussed with one another what they might do to Jesus. 12 Now it was during this time that Jesus went out to the mountain to pray, and he spent all night in prayer to God. 35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to ungrateful and evil people. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
