NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
"But now, Job, listen to my words; pay attention to everything I say.1“But now, hear my speech, O Job, and listen to all my words.1"However now, Job, please hear my speech, And listen to all my words.1Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.1But now, Job, pay attention to my speech, and listen to all my words.
I am about to open my mouth; my words are on the tip of my tongue.2Behold, I open my mouth; the tongue in my mouth speaks.2"Behold now, I open my mouth, My tongue in my mouth speaks.2Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.2I am going to open my mouth; my tongue will form words on my palate.
My words come from an upright heart; my lips sincerely speak what I know.3My words declare the uprightness of my heart, and what my lips know they speak sincerely.3"My words are from the uprightness of my heart, And my lips speak knowledge sincerely.3My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.3My words come from my upright heart, and my lips speak with sincerity what they know.
The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.4The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.4"The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life.4The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.4The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

Answer me then, if you can; stand up and argue your case before me.5Answer me, if you can; set your words in order before me; take your stand.5"Refute me if you can; Array yourselves before me, take your stand.5If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.5Refute me if you can. Prepare your case against me; take your stand.
I am the same as you in God's sight; I too am a piece of clay.6Behold, I am toward God as you are; I too was pinched off from a piece of clay.6"Behold, I belong to God like you; I too have been formed out of the clay.6Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.6I am just like you before God; I was also pinched off from a piece of clay.
No fear of me should alarm you, nor should my hand be heavy on you.7Behold, no fear of me need terrify you; my pressure will not be heavy upon you.7"Behold, no fear of me should terrify you, Nor should my pressure weigh heavily on you.7Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.7Fear of me should not terrify you; the pressure I exert against you will be light.
"But you have said in my hearing-- I heard the very words--8“Surely you have spoken in my ears, and I have heard the sound of your words.8"Surely you have spoken in my hearing, And I have heard the sound of your words:8Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,8Surely you have spoken in my hearing, and I have heard these very words:
I am pure, I have done no wrong; I am clean and free from sin.9You say, ‘I am pure, without transgression; I am clean, and there is no iniquity in me.9'I am pure, without transgression; I am innocent and there is no guilt in me.9I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.9"I am pure, without transgression; I am clean and have no guilt.

Yet God has found fault with me; he considers me his enemy.10Behold, he finds occasions against me, he counts me as his enemy,10'Behold, He invents pretexts against me; He counts me as His enemy.10Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,10But He finds reasons to oppose me; He regards me as His enemy.
He fastens my feet in shackles; he keeps close watch on all my paths.'11he puts my feet in the stocks and watches all my paths.’11'He puts my feet in the stocks; He watches all my paths.'11He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.11He puts my feet in the stocks; He stands watch over all my paths."
"But I tell you, in this you are not right, for God is greater than any mortal.12“Behold, in this you are not right. I will answer you, for God is greater than man.12"Behold, let me tell you, you are not right in this, For God is greater than man.12Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.12But I tell you that you are wrong in this matter, since God is greater than man.
Why do you complain to him that he responds to no one's words?13Why do you contend against him, saying, ‘He will answer none of man’s words’?13"Why do you complain against Him That He does not give an account of all His doings?13Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.13Why do you take Him to court for not answering anything a person asks?
For God does speak--now one way, now another-- though no one perceives it.14For God speaks in one way, and in two, though man does not perceive it.14"Indeed God speaks once, Or twice, yet no one notices it.14For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.14For God speaks time and again, but a person may not notice it.

In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they slumber in their beds,15In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, while they slumber on their beds,15"In a dream, a vision of the night, When sound sleep falls on men, While they slumber in their beds,15In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;15In a dream, a vision in the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they slumber on their beds,
he may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings,16then he opens the ears of men and terrifies them with warnings,16Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction,16Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,16He uncovers their ears at that time and terrifies them with warnings,
to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride,17that he may turn man aside from his deed and conceal pride from a man;17That He may turn man aside from his conduct, And keep man from pride;17That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.17in order to turn a person from his actions and suppress his pride.
to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword.18he keeps back his soul from the pit, his life from perishing by the sword.18He keeps back his soul from the pit, And his life from passing over into Sheol.18He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.18God spares his soul from the Pit, his life from crossing the river of death.
"Or someone may be chastened on a bed of pain with constant distress in their bones,19“Man is also rebuked with pain on his bed and with continual strife in his bones,19"Man is also chastened with pain on his bed, And with unceasing complaint in his bones;19He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:19A person may be disciplined on his bed with pain and constant distress in his bones,

so that their body finds food repulsive and their soul loathes the choicest meal.20so that his life loathes bread, and his appetite the choicest food.20So that his life loathes bread, And his soul favorite food.20So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.20so that he detests bread, and his soul despises his favorite food.
Their flesh wastes away to nothing, and their bones, once hidden, now stick out.21His flesh is so wasted away that it cannot be seen, and his bones that were not seen stick out.21"His flesh wastes away from sight, And his bones which were not seen stick out.21His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.21His flesh wastes away to nothing, and his unseen bones stick out.
They draw near to the pit, and their life to the messengers of death.22His soul draws near the pit, and his life to those who bring death.22"Then his soul draws near to the pit, And his life to those who bring death.22Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.22He draws near to the Pit, and his life to the executioners.
Yet if there is an angel at their side, a messenger, one out of a thousand, sent to tell them how to be upright,23If there be for him an angel, a mediator, one of the thousand, to declare to man what is right for him,23"If there is an angel as mediator for him, One out of a thousand, To remind a man what is right for him,23If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:23If there is an angel on his side, one mediator out of a thousand, to tell a person what is right for him
and he is gracious to that person and says to God, 'Spare them from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom for them--24and he is merciful to him, and says, ‘Deliver him from going down into the pit; I have found a ransom;24Then let him be gracious to him, and say, 'Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom';24Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.24and to be gracious to him and say, "Spare him from going down to the Pit; I have found a ransom,"

let their flesh be renewed like a child's; let them be restored as in the days of their youth'--25let his flesh become fresh with youth; let him return to the days of his youthful vigor’;25Let his flesh become fresher than in youth, Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor;25His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:25then his flesh will be healthier than in his youth, and he will return to the days of his youthful vigor.
then that person can pray to God and find favor with him, they will see God's face and shout for joy; he will restore them to full well-being.26then man prays to God, and he accepts him; he sees his face with a shout of joy, and he restores to man his righteousness.26Then he will pray to God, and He will accept him, That he may see His face with joy, And He may restore His righteousness to man.26He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.26He will pray to God, and God will delight in him. That man will see His face with a shout of joy, and God will restore his righteousness to him.
And they will go to others and say, 'I have sinned, I have perverted what is right, but I did not get what I deserved.27He sings before men and says: ‘I sinned and perverted what was right, and it was not repaid to me.27"He will sing to men and say, 'I have sinned and perverted what is right, And it is not proper for me.27He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;27He will look at men and say, "I have sinned and perverted what was right; yet I did not get what I deserved.
God has delivered me from going down to the pit, and I shall live to enjoy the light of life.'28He has redeemed my soul from going down into the pit, and my life shall look upon the light.’28'He has redeemed my soul from going to the pit, And my life shall see the light.'28He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.28He redeemed my soul from going down to the Pit, and I will continue to see the light."
"God does all these things to a person-- twice, even three times--29“Behold, God does all these things, twice, three times, with a man,29"Behold, God does all these oftentimes with men,29Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,29God certainly does all these things two or three times to a man

to turn them back from the pit, that the light of life may shine on them.30to bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be lighted with the light of life.30To bring back his soul from the pit, That he may be enlightened with the light of life.30To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.30in order to turn him back from the Pit, so he may shine with the light of life.
"Pay attention, Job, and listen to me; be silent, and I will speak.31Pay attention, O Job, listen to me; be silent, and I will speak.31"Pay attention, O Job, listen to me; Keep silent, and let me speak.31Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.31Pay attention, Job, and listen to me. Be quiet, and I will speak.
If you have anything to say, answer me; speak up, for I want to vindicate you.32If you have any words, answer me; speak, for I desire to justify you.32"Then if you have anything to say, answer me; Speak, for I desire to justify you.32If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.32But if you have something to say, answer me; speak, for I would like to justify you.
But if not, then listen to me; be silent, and I will teach you wisdom."33If not, listen to me; be silent, and I will teach you wisdom.”33"If not, listen to me; Keep silent, and I will teach you wisdom."33If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.33If not, then listen to me; be quiet, and I will teach you wisdom.
