1 And Moses will convoke together all the assembly of the sons of Israel, and will say to them, These the words which Jehovah commanded to do them. Moses assembled all the congregation of the people of Israel and said to them, “These are the things that the LORD has commanded you to do. Moses assembled the whole Israelite community and said to them, “These are the things the LORD has commanded you to do:
2 Six days thou shalt do work and in the seventh day a holy cessation, a cessation to Jehovah: all doing work in it shall die. Six days work shall be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it shall be put to death. For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a day of sabbath rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it is to be put to death.
3 Ye shall not burn a fire in all your dwellings in the day of the rest. You shall kindle no fire in all your dwelling places on the Sabbath day.” Do not light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.”
4 And Moses will say to all the assembly of the sons of Israel, saying, This the word which Jehovah commanded, saying, Moses said to all the congregation of the people of Israel, “This is the thing that the LORD has commanded. Moses said to the whole Israelite community, “This is what the LORD has commanded:
5 Take ye from you an offering to Jehovah: all of a willing heart shall bring an offering to Jehovah; gold and silver and brass, Take from among you a contribution to the LORD. Whoever is of a generous heart, let him bring the LORD’s contribution: gold, silver, and bronze; From what you have, take an offering for the LORD. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the LORD an offering of gold, silver and bronze;
6 And cerulean purple, and red purple, and double scarlet, and byssus, and goats' hair, blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen; goats’ hair, blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair;
7 And skins of rams made red, and tahash skins, and acacia wood, tanned rams’ skins, and goatskins; acacia wood, ram skins dyed red and another type of durable leather; acacia wood;
8 And oil for the light, and aromatics for the oil of anointing and for the fragrant incense, oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense, olive oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense;
9 And stones of onyx, and stones of filling up for the ephod, and for the breast-plate. and onyx stones and stones for setting, for the ephod and for the breastpiece. and onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece.
10 And all the wise of heart among you shall come, and shall do all which Jehovah commanded; “Let every skillful craftsman among you come and make all that the LORD has commanded: “All who are skilled among you are to come and make everything the LORD has commanded:
11 The temple, its tent, and its covering, its hooks, and its boards, its bars, and its pillars, and its bases; the tabernacle, its tent and its covering, its hooks and its frames, its bars, its pillars, and its bases; the tabernacle with its tent and its covering, clasps, frames, crossbars, posts and bases;
12 The ark and its staves, the cover, and vail of the covering; the ark with its poles, the mercy seat, and the veil of the screen; the ark with its poles and the atonement cover and the curtain that shields it;
13 The table and its staves and all its vessels, and the bread of the face; the table with its poles and all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence; the table with its poles and all its articles and the bread of the Presence;
14 And the chandelier of the light, and its vessels, and its lamps, and the oil of the light; the lampstand also for the light, with its utensils and its lamps, and the oil for the light; the lampstand that is for light with its accessories, lamps and oil for the light;
15 And the altar of incense, and its staves, and the oil of anointing, and the incense of aromatics, and the covering of the door at the door of the temple; and the altar of incense, with its poles, and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and the screen for the door, at the door of the tabernacle; the altar of incense with its poles, the anointing oil and the fragrant incense; the curtain for the doorway at the entrance to the tabernacle;
16 The altar of burnt-offering, and the grate of brass which is to it, its staves, and all its vessel; and the washbasin and its base; the altar of burnt offering, with its grating of bronze, its poles, and all its utensils, the basin and its stand; the altar of burnt offering with its bronze grating, its poles and all its utensils; the bronze basin with its stand;
17 The curtains of the enclosure, its pillars, its bases, and the covering of the gate of the enclosure; the hangings of the court, its pillars and its bases, and the screen for the gate of the court; the curtains of the courtyard with its posts and bases, and the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard;
18 And the pegs of the temple, and the pegs of the enclosure and their cords; the pegs of the tabernacle and the pegs of the court, and their cords; the tent pegs for the tabernacle and for the courtyard, and their ropes;
19 The garments of service to serve in the holy place; the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons to be priests. the finely worked garments for ministering in the Holy Place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, for their service as priests.” the woven garments worn for ministering in the sanctuary—both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when they serve as priests.”
20 And all the assembly of the sons of Israel will go forth from before Moses. Then all the congregation of the people of Israel departed from the presence of Moses. Then the whole Israelite community withdrew from Moses’ presence,
21 And they will come, every man whose heart lifted him up and every one whose spirit impelled him, and they brought the offering of Jehovah to the work of the tent of appointment, and for all its work, and for the garments of the holy place. And they came, everyone whose heart stirred him, and everyone whose spirit moved him, and brought the LORD’s contribution to be used for the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments. and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering to the LORD for the work on the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments.
22 And they will come, the men with the women, all of a willing heart, they brought rings, and ear-rings, and seals, and globules of gold, all vessels of gold: and every man who lifted up a waving of gold to Jehovah. So they came, both men and women. All who were of a willing heart brought brooches and earrings and signet rings and armlets, all sorts of gold objects, every man dedicating an offering of gold to the LORD. All who were willing, men and women alike, came and brought gold jewelry of all kinds: brooches, earrings, rings and ornaments. They all presented their gold as a wave offering to the LORD.
23 And every man with whom was found cerulean purple, and red purple, and double scarlet, and byssus, and goats' hair, and skins of rams made red, and tahash skins, brought. And every one who possessed blue or purple or scarlet yarns or fine linen or goats’ hair or tanned rams’ skins or goatskins brought them. Everyone who had blue, purple or scarlet yarn or fine linen, or goat hair, ram skins dyed red or the other durable leather brought them.
24 All lifting up an offering of silver and brass, brought the offering of Jehovah: and all with whom was found acacia wood for all the work of the service, brought. Everyone who could make a contribution of silver or bronze brought it as the LORD’s contribution. And every one who possessed acacia wood of any use in the work brought it. Those presenting an offering of silver or bronze brought it as an offering to the LORD, and everyone who had acacia wood for any part of the work brought it.
25 And every woman wise of heart spun with her hands, and they will bring the spinning, the cerulean purple, and the red purple, the double scarlet and the byssus. And every skillful woman spun with her hands, and they all brought what they had spun in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen. Every skilled woman spun with her hands and brought what she had spun—blue, purple or scarlet yarn or fine linen.
26 And all the women whose heart was lifted up in wisdom, spun goats' hair. All the women whose hearts stirred them to use their skill spun the goats’ hair. And all the women who were willing and had the skill spun the goat hair.
27 And the chiefs brought stones of onyx, and stones of filling up for the ephod, and for the breast-plate. And the leaders brought onyx stones and stones to be set, for the ephod and for the breastpiece, The leaders brought onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece.
28 And spice and oil for the light and for the oil of anointing, and for the incense of aromatics. and spices and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense. They also brought spices and olive oil for the light and for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense.
29 Every man and woman whose heart impelled them to bring for all the work which Jehovah commanded to be done by the hand of Moses, the sons of Israel brought a voluntary gift to Jehovah. All the men and women, the people of Israel, whose heart moved them to bring anything for the work that the LORD had commanded by Moses to be done brought it as a freewill offering to the LORD. All the Israelite men and women who were willing brought to the LORD freewill offerings for all the work the LORD through Moses had commanded them to do.
30 And Moses will say to the sons of Israel, See, Jehovah called by name Bezaleel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. Then Moses said to the people of Israel, “See, the LORD has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; Then Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the LORD has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,
31 And he will fill him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all work; and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, with intelligence, with knowledge, and with all craftsmanship, and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills—
32 And to invent works of skill, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold and silver and bronze, to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze,
33 And in working stone for filling in, and in working wood, to work in all work of works of skill. in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, for work in every skilled craft. to cut and set stones, to work in wood and to engage in all kinds of artistic crafts.
34 He gave in his heart to teach, he and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. And he has inspired him to teach, both him and Oholiab the son of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan. And he has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others.
35 He filled them with wisdom of heart, to do all the work of engraving, of inventing, and variegating in cerulean purple, and in red purple, and in double scarlet, and in byssus, and of weaving, and of those doing all work, and of those devising works of skill. He has filled them with skill to do every sort of work done by an engraver or by a designer or by an embroiderer in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, or by a weaver—by any sort of workman or skilled designer. He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers.
