2 And Reaiah son of Shobal begat Jahath, and Jahath begat Ahumai and Lahad. These were the clans of the Zorathite. Reaiah the son of Shobal fathered Jahath, and Jahath fathered Ahumai and Lahad. 10 And Jabez called out to the God of Israel, saying, “If only You would greatly bless me and enlarge my territory! And may Your hand be with me, that You would keep me from evil, not to grieve me.” And God brought in for him that which he asked. Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked. Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.
11 And Chelub the brother of Shuhah begat Mehir; he was the father of Eshton. Chelub, the brother of Shuhah, fathered Mehir, who fathered Eshton. Kelub, Shuhah’s brother, was the father of Mehir, who was the father of Eshton.
12 And Eshton begat Beth-rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah father of Ir-nahash. These were the men of Rechah. Eshton fathered Beth-rapha, Paseah, and Tehinnah, the father of Ir-nahash.
